Thank You GemVie?.\r Not so long ago I was addicted to tanning beds? I thought that?s the best and the easiest way to look healthy and beautiful. But it turned out to be my big mistake a got several brown (sun damage) spots on my face. That was a disaster! I didn?t know what to do and how to get rid of them? Until my mother came across GemVie website. I went for a free consultation and skin analysis with the doctor. And he offered me a series of treatments: we started with micropeel (combination of Microdermabrasion and Chemical peels) once in two weeks and IPL treatment every 3 weeks. I had 3 of each treatment so far and folks this is some kind of miracle!!! My brown spots are almost gone and I still have another 2 treatments to go. I went during spa week and had a facial. It was a great experience, the woman that performed it, Ilona, had a great deal of knowledge. She told me exactly what is good and bad for my skins and why. She also gave me ideas on how to take care of my skin. I read the review below mine and I am surprised that she thought that the workers were trying to push along the products and services. Tried a facial here during spa week and i have to say it was jus ok. i read all the reviews and expected more perhaps? i dunno. pros...the place is very clean but cons include the facialist setting a timer on so the tick tick tick that was throughout my facial was not exactly calming shall we say? also the extractions were on the rough side and i walked out w my face very red. hours later.....still red. another con, a lot of sales talk. this product or that service; i could have done without. overall ok experience but i wouldnt go back. Last weekends my friend had a bridal shower spa party at gemvie medispa! At first I didn?t know what I was getting myself into, but it turned out great! We all had an amazing time! What a great way for girls to get together and relax! They offer every service you could think of from Micropeels to anti-cellulite treatments! I had a signature facial and a slimming body wrap done! Oh boy services as well as staff were excellent, very helpful and professional. I even noticed that I lost some inches after the wrap! I think I found my way to get ready for my bikini! In between the services we had a delicious lunch in their elegant relaxation room with the outdoor patio view. The atmosphere in GemVie is very cozy and pleasant. Finally a great spa + beauty medi-treatments in the midtown! Clean, friendly, professional, fairly priced, lovely-lovely place. I live in the area and noticed GemVie as I walked by and asked what kind of treatments they offer. To my surprise they offer everything from facials to botox and restyline ( I hope I spelled that right) I was interested in their microdermabrasion and IPL treatments. Also the decor of the place is really cute and modern. I got both of these treatments done and was sooooooooo happy with the treatment and service, that I bought packages for both. Ive also been interested in the botox treatments, but haven't ventured into those just yet, although I did get a free consultation and took some pictures with a special camera, that shows your face in a diff. light. All in all I thought the place was great in their treatments, service and decor. Defiantly a must for spa lovers!!!! more

\r I visited GemVie MediSpa a week ago for my Brazilian Wax. It was awesome! I do waxing on a regular basis and I tried different kinds of wax and different places. But what they use in GemVie and the way Ilona did it was absolutely painless and so quick!!! I?m never going anywhere else again. I moved to NYC not long ago and was very excited about it, but there was just one thing that made me feel uncomfortable. I always spent time devoted to pampering myself and back home I had an aesthetician and a favorite Spa that I was always going to and what now millions of Spas in NYC but I don?t like to experiment with my skin?My co-worker told me that she went to Gemvie Medispa and fall in love with the place and wonderful staff. I followed her advice and went there too and guess what I finally found a place where I?m going to spend a lot of joyful moments. Ilona and Inna were taking care of me and they were great attentive and professional. After Signature Gemvie facial and hot poultice massage my skin looks and feels healthier, smoother and has a beautiful glow. I went for my first time today since I saw this place open . \r I got the Medical microdermabration peel, and can tell you , I got FAR more than I paid for.\r The treatment itself does wonders . This is not my first time getting this type of treatment , but it is the best I have ever got , by far. I just cant get enough of how smooth and spotless my face looks after this treatment , I am not sure if its the latest equipment, or the products that were used , but I can see a big difference compared to the other places I 'v been too.The place itself is very welcoming and cozy. Something about the atmosphere that makes you want to stay there all day long.\r Galina was absolutely wonderful, made my experience there great, and I am pleased to say that I have found my new esthetician! \r Definitely definitely would recommend! more
