I love Gekko. The food is great and even the take out is beautiful. We needed a reasonably priced but high quality sushi joint in the area.

Great new addition to Midtown area 5/16/2012

Very fresh fish. Cool decor and music. Friendly service. I have eaten here twice this week and although I loved it both times the service is a leeeeeetle slow, and the fish selection for sashimi is a tad basic. But I'm all about FRESH. And Gekko is all fresh beautiful fish. I am so happy don't have to go to Hayakawa on Buford or Rise downtown for sushi anymore. more

Get your sushi high here! 2/5/2011

Headed back to Gekko. I had a late lunch here Friday, now (Saturday) taking 4 friends to share my new sushi find. The restaurant is beautiful, interesting and sexy all at the same time. I forgot to really pay attention to the decor the second the first dish was served. So fresh, so pure. I had salmon sushi, Uni sashimi, Natto, Usuzikuri. Then the best piece of fatty tuna (Toro) I have ever had. Watch out MF Sushi there is new competition in town. more
