I purchased from them twice. Once online about 6 years back I bought a Mighty Mule FM700. I got 5 years from it but was really looking for something more substantial of a gate opener this time around. I called back figuring they seemed reasonable priced back then and decided to this time have them recommend an opener. They said because of the solar usage I wanted to do Apollo was the way to go. I shopped around - they had the best price and made sure it would be compatible with my Mighty Mule remotes, keypad and solar panel. The Apollo is a night and day comparison to the Mighty Mule. I have it installed, its working great and I have a feeling I wont need to buy one again for a long time. But if I do need anything I wouldn't hesitate to call web direct brands / gatecrafters more

My experience with getting a gate started out sorted. My order was held due to the manufacturer not shipping to small resellers and instead shipping all the product to the ""BIG"" guys (you know Lowe's, Home Depot). After trying to get one sourced from other resellers, Matt my CSR, suggested I move to an Apollo opener, which was available immediately. Within a week I had my opener. Matt babysat my order supplying me with all the tracing info and following up with great customer service. I would order from them again, keeping in mind some manufacturers don't play fair and treat everyone unfair equally..... Be sure to CALL them, they will answer the phone, and you will get someone here in the US who speaks English to talk to. MJK more

The gate I got specially from GateCrafters has greatly enhanced my property's physical appeal and made my home look much more expensive than it is. Everyone who has seen it has raved about how beautifully designed it is, which I can take credit for since I used Gatecrafters custom design page that allowed me to create a gate that really appealed to my personal taste. Most custom gates are extremely expensive, but Gatecrafters has found a way to incorporate customizability with an affordable price. I knew nothing about gate openers before I called gatecrafters, their technical support reps walked me though everything I may need and helped me decide the on the right accessories for my custom situation, which i found very helpful and surprising. They didn't seem to try and just sell me the most expensive accessories, but rather gave me the pros and cons of each and let me decide. I felt they were very honest. My items were shipped very promptly. I began installation on a sunday, since it is the only day I have off work, and was shocked to see they had technical support on sundays!! This was beyond helpful...When I began installation I called them a number of times for help and they were always happy to assist me. I spent thousands on a gate and opener only to find out they shipped the wrong parts making installation impossible. After I called to tell them the problem they said they would correct it right away. Weeks went by and nothing happened. They don't return phone calls or emails and now I'm stuck with a useless gate and opener that I can't install. You might get lucky and get everything perfectly shipped from them, but if you have any problem you're screwed.
