Make no mistake: Gameworks is expensive. And much like like their Vegas counterparts, the Gameworks crew will try to make you part with your money without noticing. Keep your wits about you and you'll do okay. Tips: Happy hour (till 8:00) drinks and appetizers are half off. Limit use of the high tech games--some cost as much as $4.00. Air Hockey and the like last longer and are available for less than a dollar a game. Pros: Great Games!, Good Food!, Great Booze! Cons: Understaffed, hiidden high prices more

What's with the point system? 11/14/2002

OK, here's my beef with all places like this. They turn your money into ""points"" so you have no idea how much you are spending to play games. Of course it is a genuis move on their part - but I am left totally annoyed. I mean I enjoy the grand prix game as much as anyone - but how much am I really spending to play it? It could be $10 for all I know! Other than my beef...I enjoy gameworks. The food has always been good and they have a decent beer selection. I love to bring out-of-town guests there - they always get a kick out of the layout. It is pretty amazing the first time you see the place. more

Gameworks is one of the best reasons to go to Easton. It is easy to make an evening out of a trip there with other adults or with the family. Gameworks is a one-stop spot to eat, have some drinks, and play some video games. The best part is they kick everyone under 21 out later in the evening. My one beef with Gameworks is they do not seem to get new game sin very often. You can find many of the same games that were there the day they opened. In the video game world that is unacceptable!
