Gables West Ave

This is the worst apartment complex that I have ever lived in. It is EXTREMELY expensive and you do not get what you pay for. The appliances do not work properly (even though they were new when I moved in) and after many maintenance visits the issues with the appliances have never been fixed (in 2 years of living here). The apartments look nice on the surface but the materials are poor quality and the workmanship is also poor. There is a BIG NOISE PROBLEM! You can hear everything through the walls and even if you make multiple complaints about your noisy neighbors the management will never do anything about it. There is also a large amount of noise from drunken idiots that go to the restaurants on the property and after months of complaints the management staff has still not done anything to remedy the situation. The parking garage is also very poorly designed and is extremely dangerous. Although security seems to be good at first glance, unauthorized cars routinely follow people through the gait and main doors into the building remain unlocked or broken. All in all you should not pay this amount of money to have all these problems and to have the management staff treat you rudely when you approach them about all the problems with their property. more

This place has been one disappointment after another. I've lived here since the Summer of 2010 and it has been a nightmare getting anything done with management. I had to post to let everyone know about how poorly the management handles things after I got robbed last week. There were MULTIPLE robberies the day it happened to me. It has been going on since January and they never gave anyone notice. They have not added and have no plans to add any additional security measures. When I asked why there were no emails to alert anyone after the first round of robberies, they told me they didn't have everyone's email address. When I asked them why they sent out emails to let everyone know about Tootsie's staff parking in OUR garage, but not to be aware that there were robbers breaking doors open with crowbars and stealing belongings, they had no answer. \r \r Do not bother wasting your money renting here, try somewhere else where they actually care about residents' safety.\r more
