First of all, when I did my research on different hair extension brands, I quickly discovered that the ""Hairdreams"" brand was actually the best solution for my fine, straight, and lifeless hair woes! I also discovered that Rene Cerro was the best you can get in the southeast, and I wanted the best. I then contacted Gloss and immediately scheduled a consultation. When I arrived at Gloss I was greeted by Katrina in a very welcoming and professional manner. After meeting Renee, I was able to speak directly with two of her clients that she was finishing up and they were very happy with their results and willing to share their experiences with me. Renee answered all my questions and discussed my options (my wishes vs. my hair reality) of what would work best for my hair & skin type. When I went back to get the extensions installed I was so amazed at how realistic my results looked. They perfectly matched my natural hair color and after the cut and color there was no way to tell that I had extensions. When I went to work the next day, people scratched their heads and said ""When did you grow your hair out, it must have been a while since we talked"". Do I love her, yes, so much! This girl (well she would say woman) has been my beloved hairstylist for seven years now and taken me on what I would call a hair journey. Like many other reviewers seem to say, my hair was a disaster! When I met her I thought there was no hope. It was overbleached, stringy, and shapeless. She gave me the courage to find a style I liked and even told me it was ok to be blonde in spite of my Italian roots! SHe told me I could get on a program and my hair would grow and be better, and best of all she gave me hair extensions. This was the key for me because I got the blonde hair I wanted and didn't continue to torture my poor hair. I saw miracles happen in my hair, this may sound shocking to a non-diva but for someone who cares about their appearance like I do it was truly a miracle to see my own hair become healthier while my extensions made my hair look as glamorous as I am along the way. When I remarried and was forced to relocate to the Sunshine state (ok it wasn't so bad) I made my loving husband promise that I could have a girl trip every few months to keep my hair up. I've worn hair extensions on and off since my wedding. My hair is somewhat frizzy when the humidity hits it, especially in the back. The hair extensions would always look smoother than my hair. my friend gets extensions here and told me about this studio. she said she thought they did brazilian keratin which is a treatment to make your hair smooth for three or four months. when I went to check it out I found out not only do they do it but they have so many kinds to choose from so I could get the best one for me. my hair is not really curly just always unmanageable. I got my first brazilian keratin treatment and my hair is completely different in a really good way. it is beyond manageable now and I love it! I live in Jacksonville and drove all the way to Atlanta to get my hair done. It was worth it! A friend comes to Renee and had pretty much the same hair I had, thin, fine and flat, and since she has been getting her extensions here she looks like a movie star! I did the consultation partially on the phone and then Saturday I drove up and got my extensions. I am amazed by the difference. I will post a picture on here so everyone can see when I get a chance. I am a model and have had several photographers complain about my fine hair. I would say it's even lost me some work. I was lucky enough to meet Renee at a shoot when she was styling my hair. She gave me her card and told me that just adding a few extensions could make my hair completely different. I went to her and in an hour I had twice as much hair. I was afraid my boyfriend would not like the extensions but he really couldn't feel them unless he was trying to find them. He loves the way they look and says they look exactly like my hair. First off Renee is the best. I had this same treatment at a popular chain in Atlanta and it was $450, she did it for $300. Not only was it less, she also chose the right one for me out of many formulas. My once problem hair is so shiny and smooth. This salon is like a best kept secret. It's fun, the talk is always exciting and any girl I've met there is always fun and gorgeous! I saw the bad reviews on here and have to say they must be fake. Notice they only have one review each, the sign of maybe a jealous ex-boyfriend? Trust me and all of the other loyal girls who say you will be so happy if you go to Gloss. I am thrilled with my hair. I am an emerging artist and have used Renee and her assistant for my last 2 videos. She does more than our hair and make-up, she tells the camera what shot they need to get. she has done this many times and we used her shot. I love her and she is a Godsend. My extensions are great, my make-up is dope, but that isn't the half of it! Use her while you can, because when I am where I want to be she will be with me! Last year I decided to treat myself to hair extensions after getting divorced. I loved them and thought my hair looked the best it ever had. Then I read about Renee and looked her up online. I read reviews that sounded like she really knew what she was talking about. When I met her she told me that my extensions were nice but only one color and she always liked to use some highlights. I didn't really know what this meant but after letting her do my extensions I have to say that I can't even compare the difference. My hair is now soft and so much prettier. As an old pro at extensions (I've worn them for 7 years) I can definitely say that this gal knows how to do a great head of hair. I tried many salons in Atlanta and was unhappy so a year ago I began going to Vegas to get my hair extensions done. It was becoming less than convenient to fly there every 3 months so I asked my stylist there if he could recommend someone in Atlanta for me. He gave me Renee, a trainer for hairdreams, phone number. She told me some tricks I didn't know like sleeping on a satin pillow and when it came time for her to do my next set I for once felt relaxed. My extensions look great! I ended up in Renee's magic hands when my friend and co-worker who has cone to her faithfully snuck me in with her appointment. She had only booked a cut and Renee was really busy. I patiently stayed until 8 pm when she finally had time to ""trim"" my hair. I asked her what she would do for me and she suggested dark chocolate streaks in my carmel-ish hair as well as some golden highlights near my ears to add ""width"" to my face which is more long and narrow. She also suggested a thickening with a small amount of hair extensions for volume. I asked her when she cold do this and when she looked at her schedule it was 3 weeks away. I begged her to do it then and although I am certain she was exhausted she agreed as a favor to my friend. She even seemed excited for me as she transformed me. In two hours I had the best hair I have ever had, by far. I cannot imagine going elsewhere, though I threaten to since she is hard to get an appointment with sometimes! Now I am trying to get another friend in and may have to just bring her like I got there. I found this place when I asked my boyfriends aunt what she thought I should do with my hair. She told me the girl she goes to is an artist and basically works miracles. I wanted a big change. I decided that I was over my blond bob and wanted long dark hair. I knew I wanted Hairdreams because I had tried many extensions a couple years ago when I had longer hair and it was the silkiest of all I tried. I googled all Hairdreams salons in Atlanta and found a few. I wasn't sure who to choose so I decided to call Hairdreams company and asked their recommendation. They said they had a trainer in Atlanta who was amazing. I then called Renee at Gloss and found a new friend and hairstylist. She made me feel so comfortable in her private salon while we watched Sez and the City and chatted. Best of all she made my hair long dark and exactly what I wanted. You would never know I had extensions because they look so natural. She also gave me some makeup tips which made my dark brown hair look better with my skin. She is the best. I pray she never moves! I am writing my second ever review for Renee at Gloss. I found her when I was searching online for a salon who did Hairdreams extensions. I went to several consultations and when I met Renee who happens to be a Hairdreams educator I knew I was choosing her to do my extensions. She actually charged me less than any other salon offered to and I swear that my extensions are better than most celebrities I see. She places them in a way that they just look completely natural and move like my own hair. She is amazing in her way of making me feel comfortable and she always gives me beauty tips that are honest; like when she told me my lipstick was too dark and it was aging me, I switched to the pink she suggested and what a difference in the responses I get from men!
