Best

Probably my favorite baked goods in Seattle. Wide selection and superb quality. Most of the employees are friendly and competent.

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/24/2012

I'm so grateful that Fresh Flours is in our neighborhood. It's such a bright, sunny place, the food is excellent and fresh, and the artwork is lovely. I always get the feeling that the staff and owner want to make the caf? a place where people will be happy and treated well. That's such a change from some cafes, such as Greenwood Chocolati and its violent artwork (bloody psychopaths holding bloody meat cleavers, anyone?) bitter and sludgy drinks (is it chocolate or mud) and staff that is always nagging you to buy some of their overpriced candies. more

Japanese-inspired sweets at a neighborhood hangout 3/8/2010

This family-friendly Phinney Ridge bakery (which now has a sister store in Ballard) doesn't limit itself to the usual bran muffins and croissants. Flavors like azuki bean, ginger, green tea and white chocolate define the pastry case, while savory croissants, soups and sandwiches round out the lunch menu. The baristas also pull a mean iced Americano. Fresh Flours' proximity to the zoo means you may be sharing the space with strollers and toddlers, but there's surprisingly ample seating indoors and outs. Pros: Friendly service, unique pastries Cons: Careful not to trip on the toddlers running around! more

Great Pastries and Coffee 1/23/2007

Wonderful selection of pastries. I have to go back again and again to try them all. They're the best I've ever tried. It's a comfortable place to hang out as well. Pros: Free Internet, Great Selection more
