I have had several awful experiences with Franklin Garden Management. If your looking and thinking about signing a lease with this management company please think of other options.
In the beginning before you sign the lease and after the lease is signed things are agreed upon. But while time passes on those things don't happen. I now know to get everything in writing with everything that is said between landlord and tenant.
Tenants do not respect property such as throwing grease down sinks and smashing the fire extinguisher glass, tenants are constantly screaming and smoking pot. It's really not a safe to be. Every lock they put in is extremely cheap. Your left wondering every night is someone going to break in. And then when you leave you wonder the same.
The outside noise is really loud all day and truely all night; constant traffic; which is part of living on Franklin Ave.
Maintenance is hard to get. Putting your requests through several times is always a good idea or hiring your own help. I often wondered why Tenants could not respect apartment property it did'nt take long to figure out. Management could'nt respect tenants how could tenants give respect back. And why would they want to?
Communication from landlord to tenant is by obsure, random notes left on your door. It's an extremely passive way of communication. Your left thinking every time you see a letter on your door (what now)! Don't you people know how to communicate like calling?
I know they manage other apartment buildings in the Minneapolis area too such as: Morrison Village, Ecco Flats, Jefferson Townhomes, Northhaven, and Nokomis Condos as well.
I honestly wish I could rate negative stars on this review. It would give an honest look on how they treat their tenant service.
