My husband went to see ENT dr for a throat problem he had in November of 2012\r We were told that there will be no charge for visit as we have satisfied the deductible.\r The ENT dr. Dr. Prasaad sent my husband to audiologist...yes you read it right! an audiologist for a throat problem. They failed to tell us that that is not covered by our insurance.\r I have been disputing this charge since November of 2012. The administrative, billing and I even wrote to the CEO of Kelsey Seybold and no reply! \r I just want to warn you all to ask questions when you go to SB....Is what you are doing covered by my insurance???? Stop the doctors every time they try to run a test. They are money hungry and swindlers and have no integrity.\r They did not have the decency to reply to letters that I sent to Administration and to the CEO.\r To this day after going to see 2 doctors and them running test after test and taking our money, my husband is still not well and has the same throat problems.\r They have lost my husband and I as patients and I will tell everyone to be aware of this clinic and Kelsey Seybold in general. more

We had a new born baby in November and we too her to the Kelsey-Seybold clinic for two weeks check up because we’ve interviewed a pediatrician there and he is just wonderful. After the visit, the lady from the desk told me that my daughter’s name is not on my insurance and I told her that she was a new born, it will take 15~30 days for them to put her name on my insurance. The lady asked me to pay out of pocket. I ask her if she can file the insurance claim after a week or two and if she has problem with the insurance, she can send me a bill. She refused. I had to pay out of my pocket and she asked me to file insurance on my own. I filed the insurance two days after that and two month gone by. I have not heard for the clinic so I called the insurance company and they told me that the clinic was paid and I need to go ask them for my money back. I called Kelsey-Seybold business office and they told me they couldn’t give me my money back for two reason: First, there is one charge which was not paid by the insurance. Since part of the charge was not paid, they can’t refund me the part which was paid. Second, I had other visits after that. Before Kelsey-Seybold Clinic was paid by the insurance company and that means the balance is not zero. They will have to “hold on” to my money. I asked the lady on the phone that if I take my baby to the clinic again for any reason, are they just going to keep holding on to my money, and she said yes. Well, they hold my money for one claim as hostage for feature claims. It does not make sense to me. If it is my responsibility to pay, send me a bill and I will pay. I am not sure where my rights come in, but I am sure I will find out soon! more

Kelsey Seybold has some really good doctors and I must say they have one or two bad front desk clerks ( pediatrics). If the doctors were not so good I would not be using Kelsey seriously. I have 2 medical insurances ( i and my wife we have one each from our employers) and I did request numerous times to bill secondary insurance and they say there is no such thing! One even told me that its illegal! But at the same time when I told them I want to include secondary insurance this lady was speaking so loudly asking date of birth and social security number which I assume half the room must have heard. When I wanted to write it she was like no tell me and she repeated after me! After taking details they never billed secondary unless I call and follow up. Other doctors waive co pay but Kelsey is very aggressive at collecting copays or even copays for vaccinations which are covered by insurance. We need to follow up for refund. Frankly if my doctor moved to other clinic, I will move to the other clinic in a heartbeat. Ofcourse their facility is clean, front desk personnel in other depatments are good. Their lab people are very well trained ( you would not feel a thing when they draw your blood!) They give appointments immediately. They do have a pharmacy in the clinic. If you have half hour extra time to wait then its best choice if not you can use walgreens. I would have given them better rating but their front desk and billing team really makes the experience bad. more
