All the data was recovered! 7/9/2013

After three+ years of running without any issues, my external hard drive, which I use everyday and has all my music, photos, and work history, did not boot up. There was that moment of panic, thinking EVERYTHING was gone, but after looking online at a few places to bring this hard drive, I found FlashFixers through the BBB page. The fact that I could drive to the business to drop my drove off, versus mailing it to some other place in the US, was a very large point in favor of trying them out. They were professional all around, quick to reply to any questions I had, willing to explain the steps needed to take to diagnose the issue, and contacting me when one portion of the recovery process was finished and the next was beginning. Within 1.5 weeks of the initial diagnosis, I had ALL my data returned to me (one a new HD), and life is continuing as if this whole failure had not occurred! Recovered photos and music for my daughter 7/1/2013

Flashfixers fixed an ipod touch that had been disabled. My daughter would have lost all her pictures and videos for the last 3 years and they were able to recover it all. No one locally seemed to have the ability to fix that and once it has been disabled it would not be backed up. I found positive feedback on these people and they said they thought they could fix it. They got us in right before our vacation, calling them Tuesday and they had it diagnosed and fixed and back in the mail all within one day. Very good experience! more

My laptop crashed so I researched several companies that could help. THe pricing ranged from ridiculous to outrageous. I called Flashfixers because they seemed competitive but still reasonable. I also liked that they were local. Instead of sending my computer who knows where, I hand delivered it. I wanted to know who would be working on my personal computer. They were reasonable and communicated consistently. I was very pleased and couldn't be happier with this small, local business. more

Fast and fabulous 6/3/2013

Brought in an Apple laptop hard drive, which the Apple Store had said was impossible to retrieve any data from. Flash Fixers quickly determined that the hard drive was not only still useable but they also were able to retrieve ALL our data. Reasonable cost and super quick turnaround. Recommend. more

Competent, Reliable and Above and Beyond. 5/31/2013

In my experience of having my PC worked on to optimize it's performance, I found Rich at Flash Fixers extremely competent, knowledgeable and willing to go "above and beyond" in what he did for me. It doesn't seem like Flash Fixers is your "run of the mill" computer and data specialist company. 5 Stars all the way! more

FlashFixers is excellent. I had a problem with my hard drive, sent it to them, and got a call back right away. They were able to very clearly communicate to me what the problem was and how to fix it in layman's terms. They also gave me time to think about the repair. Whenever I called and asked to speak with Rich, he was always available. I highly recommend his service and have recommended it to others. more

Lifesavers to a college senior. 4/18/2013

I am very appreciative of Flashfixers's work. I had a panic moment in which my college son's flash drive crashed with all his information on it. Best Buy couldn't fix it but they told us there were services online. That's how I found out about Flashfixers and mailed it up to them. I talked to Rick several times and he explained the service to me. He was very reassuring that they'd be able to do something even if they couldn't recover the whole thing. He kept me posted the entire time. It turns out they couldn't re-pen it so they had to open it up. We didn't get 100% back but most of it was recovered. more

I am very please with FlashFixers. They helped to recover photos and telephone contacts from a water damaged iPhone. When I first called them about this I really liked their attitude. They were honest and didn't want to promise anything, but were very confident that they could do the recovery. They did exactly what they said they would and I am a very satisfied customer. more

Got it back and it's even better than before 4/1/2013

I brought in my Macbook that had gotten dishwater on it and was no longer starting. I thought it was completely dead but I brought to FlashFixers hoping to at least salvage the data. Not only was the data recovered but the computer got a second life with cleaning out the insides of any corrosion and a new battery. I would recommend their services because it was absolutely top-notch work. more

Great Job! 3/29/2013

I brought my 4 year old computer in to Flash Fixers. It was operating very slowly with all types of glitches. I was thinking I might have to buy a new one. But Rich was able to "clean" it up and now my computer really works like a brand new one. Moreover, he explained to me in a clear and non-technical way what he did, and he downloaded programs to keep it working like new. And the fee that he charged was extremely reasonable, about 1/5th of what a new computer would cost! more

Restored pictures of my dad from a camera 3/18/2013

FLASHFIXERS did a great job of preserving pictures of my dad who passed away. They repaired digital pictures from a camera and I am so thankful they could restore these memories for me. more

Thankfully I do not need FLASHFIXERS help very often, but twice in the last 18 mo.'s I have asked Rich for help and he has been very prompt in my rescue! He has been very patient, thorough and non-condescending, about my lack of expertise, when explaining my problems and their solutions. more
