When my external hard drive stopped working, I figured I was faced with paying thousands of dollars for data recovery or losing years worth of photos of my kids. Thankfully I found FlashFixers online and sent them my hard drive to be repaired. They recovered everything off my failed drive and the price was reasonable. I'm going to do everything I can to try to backup my photos properly this time and never be faced with this situation again, but it's nice to know that FlashFixers is there in case of another emergency. more

My iPhone 4 became disabled after entering too many unknown passwords. I thought I was safe because I had backed up all of my pictures to iCloud. However, that was not the case. If I restoredy phone I would lose my 25th Wedding Anniversary pictures and my son's wedding pictures among many other valuable memories. That was not an option! I went to the Apple store, Sprint repair service, talked to numerous IT people and did hours of Google research. I had only encountered dead ends. When I saw Flashfixers, I was very skeptical about them being able to do what no one else could. I did my research and foumd them to be a bery legitimate Company. When I called they we optimistic but honest in regards to what they could do. I took a leap of faith and sent them the phone with all of my precious pictures. I called almost daily for progress reports. When they told me they had not only unlocked the phone and restored it completely to its previous condition, but had saved all of my photos to a CD, I literally cried. I felt they were very reasonably and fairly priced, although those pictures were so priceless to me, they could have charged me thousands and I would have paid it! The turnaround time from the day I sent the phone to when I received it back was 7 days! In my honest opinion, there is ABSOLUTELY not one thing they could have improved on. I am forever grateful! more

A lady at cvs kept jamming my memory card in the WRONG slot and it cracked. I couldn't get my pictures after that! I had my sons birth on there all the way to his 1st birthday! I was devastated! I for sure thought there was no way I would ever see my pictures again. I had my aunt research for me and she found flashfixers! They are amazing... They were able to recover all 800+ photos onto a disc. I was so happy! :) Another plus about flashfixers is they are definitely affordable and fast! After taking my Android (Samsung Galaxy Nexus) phone for a swim in the ocean, I figured that I had a lost cause. Hard to do worse than submerging a phone in water, unless it's salt water. I called around, including the biggest data recovery companies, and was told not to even bother sending it in. Flash Fixers was the small shop in the mix I found. Sometimes the small shops are the ones that give you just that needed extra attention, and I hoped had the capability as well. Turns out I had gotten really lucky on both fronts. They didn't give up at just moving the phone's motherboard to a different chasis, but ultimately de-soldered the memory chip, read the contents serially (via JTAG), reconstructed the file system, and provided all of its contents to me via download. Amazing. No doubt this will not always work, but they bothered to try, had the experience and equipment to do it, and were successful in my case. The kicker is that the cost was incredibly reasonable (especially compared to the "big guys"), and certainly consumer friendly (most large data recovery places serve industry or law enforcement with larger budgets, I suspect). Communication was great,. The sense of honesty was easily detectable. more

I don't mind rating the service; I see no instructions in the original email that indicate that a written review required. That is asking a bit much - the review itself should be optional or you should give better instructions. more

These folks resurrected the memory of my drowned iPhone4, salvaging all my videos and photos. The phone had been submerged in a pond for over an hour. All for under $300! Compared to their expensive competitors they are a tremendous bargain. The turnaround time was fast. They called right away when they received the phone, and then called again within just a couple days to report that they had recovered the photos and videos (what I was most eager to recover). Great Company more

Accidentally deleted aprox 55 pictures with my camera hooked up as a hard drive. These were fully recovered and returned to me on a hard disk in about a week. Couldn't ask for anything more, they get an A Plus Plus more

We had a customer whose flash drive was damaged by an employee who shoved it too hard into the photo kiosk. There was nothing the store could do about it but it was important to us to take care of it because there were almost a thousand photos on it for the customer's project. We called Flashfixers who could not recover it but could provide another service that our store did not provide. Instead of asking for cash upfront from us, they did an invoice which we really appreciated. more

I had to use Flashfixers for data recovery on an iPhone running on corrupted software and he was able to recover all my pictures and videos, all 1,100 of them, and put them back on my computer. He restored my iPhone back to its original state meaning he took out the corrupted software. It was an overall good experience, he went above and beyond at a reasonable price to get everything fixed. Customer service was friendly, as well. more

Got all of our digital images after the camera card was reformated twice; also received images that were deleted from the camera before and after the ones that were lost. We've given their contact information more than a dozen times to people asking for it within the first week of us getting our pictures back. more

I found FLASHFIXERS on the internet. I needed someone to help me transfer the hard-drive from my old PC to my new one. I always try to give my business locally, and he's local so it worked out. more

Flashfixers worked on my complete external hard drive which crashed and he was able to pull everything off of it. I dropped off the hard drive because I am located so close to them on my way to work. They really saved me by recovering all my photos, work, documents, etc. They told me what needed to be done and he backed it all up on his servers and backed it up on a new hard drive for me in less than two weeks.
