Fish Land

For many years since discovering this store I did not want to write a review because I wanted to keep this store to myself! After many other bad experiences at other stores (stores that I live closer to) I realize I want people to know about this store, so they will stay in business for a long time. I totally trust the fish from this store. All of the fish I have bought from here have been SUPER HEALTHY. The main guys that run the store are very helpful and knowledgable. The prices are good and variety is good although it does change I guess according to their supplier. My main reason for loving this store is it because they actually care about the fish and take good care of them. I dont like buying fish and worrying about bringing home a disease to the rest of my tank. This place is in a small shopping center on Westheimer. The selection of fish is nice with a what seems like a fish oriented environment. The staff, well one guy seems high in there and the others are just high school kids sweating it out. One or two of the asian guys, that speaks poor English, seemed knowledgeable. The price is unbeatable. Sometimes they are out of certain fish and seemed to depend on the deliveries coming (clown loach in my case), but the more common fish are in abundance. Clean store, fish appear healthy. Employees are knowledgeable. Some interesting selections as well. . more
