Guy who runs this place, Jay Peloquin, is so rude, arrogant, and narcissistic I don't know how he's still in business or working there! Avoid this place.

Average job, wasn't exceptional but wasn't the worst. 5/3/2013

Fireside Designs has a good product but the installation was not done well and I had to redo it. They should take more time to make sure everything is right first. One of the legs was not on correctly and a screw for a pipe didn't fit correctly so I had to readjust both of them. Other than that they showed up on time. more

I was extremely impressed with the product and service. 1/31/2013

I had them out to install a gas fireplace insert and put caps on the chimney. They showed up a little earlier than they said, which was great. They said how long it would take and it took that long. They were courteous, and explained the whole process in detail which I appreciated more

The Fireside Designs staff was very helpful when I was there. If I had any questions or concerns, they addressed them. I am happy with the quality of the products. I would recommend them because they are dependable, they were here when they said they would be and did what they said they would do. more

The people at Fireside Designs were very knowledgeable about their products and answered all the questions we had. They showed up on time for the appointment and installed the stove we purchased in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I needed something else from them. more

Very pleased 10/26/2012

I went in to the Fireside Designs store with pictures of what my fireplace looked like. The people were very helpful in helping us decide what new model would best fit our needs. From the store visit to the installation, it was an all around great experience. The installers were very helpful, clean, and efficient. They spray-painted the silver chimney cap black, so it camouflages into the black surroundings. They did an incredible job! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. more

No issues. Everything was good with Fireside Designs. They have good customer service in the store. If I call and ask questions, they always have the right answers. The product is great, and they were in and out when I first scheduled them. They really listened. There has not been an issue at all. more

I'm very pleased with Fireside Designs. I'd absolutely recommend them. The experience was excellent. I was very pleased. At first, I was told by a couple places that I'd need a whole new fireplace. Fireside Designs worked their rear ends off and found me a burner to replace mine. It was a lot less expensive than it would have been. more

Fireside Designs has friendly customer service. They answered all of our questions we had about the stove. They gave us a rebate, as well, that we didn't even know about. I had them install a pellet stove in my house. I actually haven't run it yet because we just got it permitted, but I'm hoping it's really good. William Bond more

Great customer service and attention to detail. 8/16/2012

I went to Fireside Designs on a weekday out of curiosity, just to check it out. When I went in, the sales clerk went through the details with me, lots of details like how a stove actually works. He explained how to judge the functionality of a stove, what I had to look for when buying a stove, and was generally a really big help. The customer service was so great that I was convinced to buy a stove with them. more

I had purchased a stove from another company and was very disappointed. Fireside Designs was very professional. The installers were great and very clean. They were very sensitive to where they were and even brought me a bag of pellets to show me how everything worked. The Harmon stove they installed is absolutely great. I have saved a tune on my oil bill because of this stove. more

Fireside Designs are very good. I have no problems with them. I saw them at a local home show, and ended up paying what I was quoted for installing a gas fireplace where I had a wood stove before. As far as putting it in, they explained, delivered, and installed it well. I couldn't ask for more. I'm very happy, and I've been using it since I got it. more

Stand behind the work they do. 5/2/2012

This was our second experience with Fireside Designs and we would use them again in the future. When they first installed it, it was not 100, it seemed like they could have been more thorough in sealing the pipe. Smoke was escaping into the house, not bellowing or anything like that, but there was a definite odor. They came back out and corrected their mistake and we love it. The one thing that really stood out to me was the people in the showroom. The Sales Reps were very knowledgeable, well-versed and extremely professional. To me, it was probably the best experience throughout the process. more
