OK, the pizza here is better than average, but at the recommendation this place is better than Luce is insance. Bland sauce, doughy crust, sparse ingredients, come on man!

Foreign objects in food 7/20/2020

I ordered a lasagna only to get home and bite into a piece of stone. It looks like chipped granite or tile. A simple hotdog stand has the sense to keep foreign items out of food but this place doesn't seem to be able to manage it? Save your teeth and potentially your life. Avoid this dump. more

Making you fat, but not happy! 4/20/2006

Fat's Lorenzo's was voted one of the Best of the Twin Cities in 2002. Based on the delivery I had from them last week, I'd have to disagree. The delivery was very quick for a Friday evening - less than 40 minutes. The pizza that arrived was less than stellar. Everything was SLATHERED in grease! The pizza and cheesebread tasted alright, but the greasiness overwhelmed the flavor. There are plenty of much better pizza places to go in the Twin Cities. more

MM, making me hungry 4/18/2006

I am a big fan! They have yummy HUGE pizzas. My favorite is the meatball. I also like the white pasta sauce. They deliver and you can eat in. The restaurant is very cute. They have murals covering the walls. The service is fun and friendly. But it gets busy (cause its soo good), so call ahead if you wantto pick up your food. more

Support a great local restaurant! 9/24/2005

Our office orders from Fat Lorenzos when we have a big meeting or party. We usually order the regular lasagna, vegetarian lasagna, salad and breadsticks. These are no ordinary breadsticks! They are huge, and have lots of yummy seasonings on them. The vegetarian lasagna is my favorite. They also have sandwiches and pizza of course. It is a great, local restaurant and I highly recommend supporting them! more

Great Spot for Pizza & Subs 8/5/2005

We highly recommend Fat Lorenzos. They are a great neighbor eat spot that has fantastic pizza, bread sticks, and hot and cold subs. I recommend the hot turkey sub, which is one of my favoriites. Also which should go without saying, you can not go wrong with a pizza. They have outside eating and it is very close to Lake Nokomis. At certain times, the street is packed with cars from those that are jonesing for some Italian food. Give it a try. more

Great food and unbelievable prices! 7/29/2005

From their pizza's to their sandwiches you will NEVER be disappointed with Fat lorenzo's. The portion sizes are extremely large so expect leftovers to take home. The restaurant is a small place with wooden booths and old checkered tablecloths. The atmosphere is very welcoming and feels like you have lived in the neighborhood for years. A must eat when visiting SE Mpls. more
