We always call Family Heat and Air in the beginning of the winter and summer seasons to get our equipment serviced. We have done this for the entire time we have lived in our condo - over ten years now. They are consistantly excellent and when we have a problem, they are out here in a flash. We wouldn't use anyone else for our heating and cooling services. more

I've been using Family Heat and Air for about nine years. I handle a large BMW dealership, and the facility has a number of air conditioning units. Some of the units have a number of years on them, so I need qualified people to be able to correct some of the older units. Family Heat and Air has always been very, very good at locating the proper parts or finding replacements if the needed part couldn't be found. I've had a good enough experience with them that I now have them taking care of my own properties. They are a good, family-run business, and they've never let me down. In the air conditioning business, that's hard to find! more

Called on a saturday night, heater was not working. A repairman came by about 7:00pm and said no way to get parts, but he'd come back on Monday. Monday came and went with no call no show. When I called Tuesday they gave excuses why he couldn't get parts, but didn't seem to have a reason why no one could call me. Tuesday he came later than promised and installed 2 parts but refused to tell me the prices of the parts he installed. The heater didn't turn on the 1st time, but did the 2nd. After a week the heater again didn't work, but the owner John demanded he be paid for coming out twice already. When I asked him, why he wanted to be paid for a heater that didn't work, he became upset. He then calmed down and said Tony would be out again on Tuesday at 6:00pm. I came home early and sat in the living room(by the front door) from 5pm-8pm and no one showed up or called, again. My wife was also home at the time. Today, Thursday, The owner called and left a message wanting my credit card number. When I called and spoke to Mike, he said that Tony was there and left a note on my door, because no one was home. When I asked for his state license # he said he didn't know, "that's not my department" and then asked why I was being so hard about this.... more

Excellent customer service! They are honest and professional and I would recommend this company without hesitation. I had them install an entirely new HVAC system and they even went above and beyond to get me scheduled. Due to medical reasons, AC is mandatory for me and they rearranged another customer to accommodate my needs so that I did not have to stay in a hotel. The service men arrived on time, completed the work in a day, were very pleasant, and were very tidy. more

We had the AC Pro installed, as opposed to Maytag, turns out it's the same unit but $600 cheaper. The two installers did a decent job and completed the job in 2 days - just didn't come the 2nd day at the time they said they would. Left me waiting. We live in a 2 level SFR and had the thermostat moved upstairs due to the 2nd level retaining heat big time. Our bedroom faces west and retains a great deal of heat, sits above garage. To move the thermostate was suggested by John and was a good idea! The new A/C is definitely working well now that we are experiencing the current heatwave and isn't too noisy. I would recommend Family Heat & Air. more
