Enterprise Rent-A-Car

We rented a van on line months before needing it. Called two weeks before and the day before. Still all 3 vehicles that were supposed to be there were not for one reason or another. They put us in our choice of an SUV that was supposibly higher in cost. It didn't have the room we needed but we didn't want to wait for other cars. They told us by getting the gas package they would fill the gas tank up when returned and it would be cheaper than some local stations. The SUV was ok, but not enough room, and they charged us over $60 for a quarter tank of gas upon our return that should have been $20. Also they charged an addional 33% for airport taxes that wasn't on the contract I agreed to. We were very displeased with the hidden costs so we told the people at the booth (who were very nice) that we wouldn't be using Enterprise again. They knocked off some from the gas but we still were not happy. more

I have used other car rental companies, but now I only use Enterprise. They can be busy at the airport location, but the staff is friendly and my bill is what my invoice says it will be. No hidden charges. I was quite impressed with the Ford Focus I was given. I will use them again and again. JA more

Upon arrival I went to the Enterprise station where a sign was posted to enter the parking lot booth. There were two customers ahead of me, and it was cool and damp outside, and they seemed to be really busy. When it was my turn the agent who serviced me expeditiously honored my request for an Escape by acquiring it from another rental co., and I was very appreciative, since that is what I usually drive, so I don't have to learn how to operate an unfamiliar vehicle. I was very happy with the vehicle but I could not sync/connect my iPhone with it, a small issue. The return was quick and I was able to proceed to the terminal to get ready for my flight. On both contacts the agents were friendly and efficient. I was satisfied with the service and rental acquisition & return and would recommend this co. However, if it is cold and rainy, It would have been good to have an agent indoors. more

I have used Enterprise some several times for various reasons and have always been happy with their personnel and service. Except......\r this last time (at the Clinton site) the service desk counter was closed and I had to go outside to get the car as well as upon return.\r I had a large piece of luggage as well as a medium size carryon. The car was the right size that I was used to but of a different make. When I picked up the car I had to transport these things myself as well as find the outside facility. I was not a happy camper. The ""scrape"" I had done was not observed until the person doing the inspection was told about the damage. I paid the deductible from my own insurance as I had indicated I had my own insurance. there was no shuttle back to the terminal and was told ""the shuttle is your legs!"" Again I had to transport my luggage back to the terminal myself in order to board my plane departure.\r In renting a car from Enterprise, I have never had to do all this myself.\r Next time when renting a car at an airport I will check to see what their procedure is prior to the transaction. more

Enterprise is the only way to go when you have to be there. They are professional and trustworthy. more
