Great Fitness Classes & Kung Fu Too 10/28/2009

I started working out here about 6 months ago. I started with Pilates and worked my way up into the FFitness class. I get bored and intimidated at health clubs. This place doesn't feel like a typical gym. It has a more personal feel and I didn't have to sign a contract. After 3 months, I was in the best shape I have been in years. They also do Shaolin Kung Fu here with instructors from China. I am doing that class now also. It is rigorous, but I have discovered a new love and I am doing things I never thought I would be able to do. This place is changing my life! They have more relaxing classes like Yoga and Tai Chi also, for people who would rather relax and de-stress instead. Highly recommended! Pros: Get in shape without getting bored Cons: Street Parking more

I love working out here! 4/26/2007

I take Tai Chi and Yoga classes at Energy Fitness and I have nothing but positive feedback. I?ve been taking classes for 3 months now and I have had an excellent experience. The staff are professional, yet still approachable ? they make each class great. The class size allows for personal interaction and individualized training, no matter what your current skill level is. I never feel bad asking questions. The classes are fun and I enjoy going each week because we are always learning something new. I just wish I had time to take more classes! Pros: Good Value, Great Instructors, Small Class Sizes more

?Exercise releases endorphins. Endorphins make you happy!? -Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde 4/26/2007

I have been going to Energy Fitness for about 3 months now, and I absolutely LOVE it! I take the Yoga and Tai Chi and within a few classes I was already feeling and seeing results. \r \r My Top 10 favorite things about Energy Fitness Inc:\r 1. The Studio staff is friendly and courteous. They knew my name the 2nd class I came to!\r 2. Every class is different, and I feel my body be challenged in new ways each week.\r 3. The class times are convenient with my work schedule (I take the night classes and occasionally opt for a weekend class)\r 5. Classes are affordable.\r 6. The studio is an extremely positive and relaxing atmosphere.\r 7. Classes are small and there is a lot of instructor - student interaction.\r 8. The instructors are professional yet personable.\r 9. Programs are for all different ages and skill levels.\r 10. Questions are encouraged, I never feel embarrassed to ask!\r \r I also am currently taking the Reactive Response/Self Defense program for Women (Three 2 hour classes on Sunday mornings). It is extremely hands on and I would highly recommend this for any woman big or small, young or old. The class teaches basic techniques that I will continue to remember for a lifetime.\r \r \r more

My best shape ever 4/13/2007

Since joining Energy Fitness about a year ago, I've gotten in the best shape of my life. I've been working out for over 20 years - Jazzercize, Women's Workout World, etc. Those programs were great, but after a while I became restless and wanted something else. I love the Functional Fitness class because the instructor changes it up each time - I'm never bored and always challenged. The prices are reasonsable and the atmosphere is laid-back. I can finally wear sleveless tops this summer with confidence! Pros: Great Instructors, low key atmosphere, friendly Cons: Need early morning workout hours. more

Total Fitness Workout! 4/4/2007

Energy Fitness offers a variety of excellent programs for both physical and personal development including martial arts, functional fitness, yoga, dance, and personal training to name a few. The atmosphere is very fun and inviting and the instructors are highly skilled in their respective areas. I take the functional fitness class regularly and it has dramatically enhanced my cardio, strength, and endurance levels. I HIGHLY recommend the functional fitness class to get back in shape or to elevate your training to the next level. You'll soon find yourself drawn to the other classes that Energy Fitness has to offer as well! Pros: Instruction, Positive Atmosphere, Flexibility, Variety, Available Street Parking more

Fitness studio with a neighborly feel 1/7/2007

This fitness studio has a warm, airy feeling with hardwood floors and soft lighting. There are no machines, just fun classes that get you moving (like Functional Fitness) or teach you a skill (like Wing Chun). The whole point is to teach people how to naturally put activity back in their lives in a practical way. Each of the disciplines taught here also require mental focus and concentration. No watching TV as you work out! The instructors know all their clients by name. This place is for people who want personalized attention and motivation to get to their next fitness goal. If group classes aren't for you, personal training is also available. There are programs for every member of the family - seniors, adults and children. No contracts....pay reasonable month-to-month rates or pay per class. They are confident you'll like it and will want to come back!\r Pros: Comfortable atmosphere, great instruction, fun activities, personalized attention Cons: No parking, no locker rooms, no street shoes more
