Huge selection, CDs/Vinyl great store! 11/22/2008

Electric fetus is a treasure of a record store, you'll find essentially any band you want, and if you don't know who to look for the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and will help you find a new favorite band. Good used selection as well, very reasonable pricing! more

Best Music Store in Minneapolis 8/21/2005

No matter what you are looking for - no matter how obscure - you will find it at the Fetus. You can listen to anything you want to before you buy - you can buy tickets to shows (without having to pay those stupid Ticketmaster fees). If they don't have it - they will find it for you. Prices are great - and you can feel good about supporting a local record shop. Excellent used selection as well. more

A great music store with a little extra 8/19/2005

The Electric Fetus, with three locations (Minneapolis, St. Cloud, and Duluth) is a great place to buy CDs. Although it might be considered a little pricy, the store is well organized and it is possible to find a number of less-than-super-famous bands. Also, because the store sell incense (among its t-shirts, knicknacks, and of course CDs), it smells great! more

Good Store 8/16/2005

Electric Fetus has ecerythign that you could possibly be looking for when it comes to music. The store is in a good location and the staff are really friendly and helpful. This store contains everything from CDs, to Cassetes, to Vinyls, to Posters. If it is rare the Fetus probably has it. Next time you are downtown make sure to stop by this good store. more

Great Music Store Alternative 8/5/2005

One of the best local CD stores in Minneapolis. In fact, it's one of the best in the country. This is one of the old style music stores that your remember from years and years ago before the onslaught of the Best Buy and their monolithic choices. Electric Fetus has a wide selection of urban, electic hip hop and just plain different music. There is even other items and basic funky trinkets that make this location a classic. more

Great place 8/5/2005

This store is wonderful. Even the bands that I don't think anyone will have, Electric Fetus has it. They have every kind of music for every type of person. They even have merchandise such as shirts and stuff. Very nice store also, friendly staff. more

A real music store. 8/2/2005

If you don't like looking through the crap at Best Buy, this is the music store for you. They have a huge catalogue with a lot of hard to find stuff. They also carry a lot of music posters, shirts and stuff like that. Also a good variety of other paraphania. It is even a cool place to go just hang out and talk music. more

Can't find that off the beaten path CD you want...Try here! 7/29/2005

Electric Fetus is the store I go to when I know no one else will carry the CDs I am looking for. From every top 40 music to the most unheard of CDs...they have it all. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, any questions you may have they can answer. The location is a bit hard to get to if you are not from the Twin Cities area but just call and they will lead you there. more

Are you looking for a super unique Gift/CD store 7/29/2005

Electric Fetus has everything hip and urban, funky and offbeat. Funky gifts and cards. Tons of CDs, incense. Even a few kids things! This is not your regular card store. The sales people are funky, often with dreads and tattoos, but very nice and helpful. Shop here if you have a friend or family member that isn't a conformist. more
