Don't eat here! When we inquired as to why our margaritas were watery the waitress informed us that since they do not have a liquor license they were "wine based". Yuck! My seat was facing a wheeled bin of dirty dishes that was overflowing with nasty dirty dishes. This was sitting next to a dirty trash can. Four feet from our table. The place was dirty. The staff was unprofessional and the food was gross. Overly greasy plantains. Rice and beans seemed reheated. The salsa was slushy. Overall a terrible experience. We will not be going back. more

My Husband and I went to the El Paso 2 Restaurant in Dania Beach, located on Federal Highway. What a great time we had. The service staff was great, the food even better. My husband had one of the Mexican dishes while I had one the Spanish dishes. Boy, what a great meal! They were very friendly and nice to us. I am for sure going back to this restaurant. Great Fine in Dania Beach if you want Mexican or Spanish. This is the real deal. more

My husband and I have been coming to this place almost every month since we discovered it 4 years ago. Great place and very pleasant staff. Also, the vegetarian items are great! more

I and my family love Mexican food but the food that they serve at El Paso restaurant was not Mexican at all. First, their salsa was old, I could taste rotten tomatoes. Second, food tasted like it came out of a can and did not taste good at all. The stake was probably cooked 3 days earlier and heated in the microwave. The food did not taste good at all and in fact made my dad feel sick after he ate it. Third, stuff was not attentive at all, in order to get a glass of water we had to walk up to them and ask for it. Overall, it is a very ran down restaurant with an awful food, I will not recommend it to anybody. more

This is a great place. Small, cozy atmosphere with affordable prices and a "family-owned" aura. \r \r But the food! Let me tell you about the food. If there is better tasting mexican food in Broward County, or S. FLA for that matter, I haven't found it. My wife and I stumbled upon this rather unassuming place last week. About 5 bites into my meal I called the waitress over (by the way, ANY waitress will come over to assist you) and told her to tell the chef that I thought my dish was the best mexican in S. Florida. My wife nodded in agreement. \r \r Try it. It was 22 bucks with drinks and the portions are very nice. \r \r Five stars for service, price, and quality. more

After such a great meal at Gabose Korean Restaurant yesterday I thought I would try another place I heard good things about, El Paso. I was told by a very good source that the chef/owner was of the main cooks at Cielto Lindos Restaurants back in their heyday. Upon hearing that I was pretty excited to give this place a go. \r \r It's a small place that seats maybe 40 people. The comp. chips and salsa were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had the Seafood Burrito with the yellow rice and no beans. The burrito was supposed to be a mix of lagostinos and crab. As I waited to order I was looking thru the menu and it looked like El Paso had the exact menu (little pictures, same names of the food along with the descriptions ) as Cielto Lindos. There were a few items like looked like originals, but not many. \r \r When my order arrived it looked good, but it didn't taste so good. The inside of the burrito was a mixture of lots of sour cream and some crab, but I didn't see any lagostinos. The mixture was just too mushy and salty. I honestly have to say I didn't even finish it. I got a cheese burger and fries, to go, for my son and he enjoyed it.\r \r Hmmmmm.....maybe I got them on a bad day. Not sure if I will go back, I will have to see. Can't recommend this one so Stay Hungry! more
