mechanics were a little dirty 8/14/2012

the work was good but it took a little longer than i would have liked, the mechanics could clean their hands a little more often i found a grease spot on my door handle but they cleaned it before i left after i mentioned it. more

mechanics could be friendlier 8/7/2012

to be honest I didn't feel like the mechanics were as friendly as everyone else seems to have felt but they were honest about everything tht was going on with my car and seemed very knowledgable. dont get me wrong they did a great job it just seems like they could have been a little more friendly is all. more

i was really scared that i was going to be taken advantage of when I went in because i'm going to be hones ti dont know anything about cars i just know where the gas goes and how to drive it (that's also debatable according to my husband lol!) but the shop took care of me and made me feel like they were on my side. if you dont know where to go and are afraid that someone will cheat you go to edwards they will treat you right! more

good work but took a little while 8/7/2012

I was a little upset with how long it took to fix my car, apparently there was some sort of part that had to be ordered in for my 92 BMW from the dealer itself but once that part came it they got everything installed fairly quick. I think they did a good just I just wish that it could have been done a little faster is all. more

took a bit longer than i hoped 7/24/2012

the castleton shop did a pretty good job of fixing my car, performance wise everything was perfect it just took a little longer than expected to fix the issue. I have to explain that I do have a rare car though so I understood the delay in parts arrival I just wish they could have fixed it a little quicker. more

i dont even know if anyone even reads these reviews but if you do you should go see jay at castleton. hes a super guy and is honest which i value more than anything else. he fixed my truck and got it back on the raod pretty quick which saved me money since i'm a contractor. thanks jay, you really took care of me man. more

I would like to start by saying that at first I was honestly afraid to take my car anywhere to have it looked at. It has been such a great car to me I was worried that it had gotten to that point where you just keep dumping money into the vehicle and it keeps breaking down. So my friend convinced me to take it somewhere to have it looked at since i wouldn't know what was wrong with it otherwise, so against what I thought I decided to take it somewhere. Originally I took it to edwards just because they offered me a free inspection but I'm sure glad that i did take it there. turns out it actually wasn't a big deal to replace the part that was casuing my car to act up and it ended up being just a couple of hundred dollars. i mean ya it was still a lot of money but they did a great job and it was less than what a single month's car payment would be so i dont have much room to complain lol! the car is running great now and needless to say I'm pleased with the work. thank you guys ill be bringing this car back for future repairs and any future vehicles I have, you just made a customer for life! more

boy am I happy that edwards was able to take care of my car. Duh I don't know a thing about cars except where to put the gas LOL :D:D but the manager at edwards was nice enough to explain to me what was going on (even though I had no clue what he was talking about LOL) he told me everything that it needed for my car to run okay again (which was a LOT....apparently I was supposed to be doing some sort of transmission service every so often? oh well too late now! LOL) but he fixed it for me and my daddy paid for it so everything is good again! more

To start out my review I would just like to say that although I don't know what exactly what was happening to my car I do know that edwards took care of it and at an affordable price. I'm not the kind of person to just go get something fixed, I always compare prices and after some thorough research I knew how much I should expect to pay, but to my surprise edward's actually fixed my car for less than I had expected, it wasn't a lot less but it was cheaper regardless. They fixed my car within days and it's nice to know that they back up their work with a warranty to give me peace of mind. I know every company will have those people that just arent satisfied and every company does make mistakes but they treated me honest and fairly and I'll be back if I ever need repairs done again. more

Unexpected surprise 7/2/2012

The work ethic and invaulable service this shop provides is bar none. Rich is a complete professional and I'm proud to say that I do business with this young man. I appreicate his honesty when it came to my vehicle and the fact that he was able to give me several different pricing points was beyond my expectations to say the least. I will gladly continue to do business with edwards in the future. more

been using edwards for several years ive had three cars and a truck repaired there all with excellent work. i'll keep going back to ed's as long as they are around and i tell all my friends to go there too, honest people and honest work what more can you ask for? more

A+ work at a low cost! 5/16/2012

I would just like to say that the guys at edwards were amazing. To be honest I didn't even know that edwards did more than just transmissions but boy was I wrong! Not only did they take care of EVERYTHING that was wrong with my car, they did it faster than other shops I have been to in the past. jay made sure that i was comfortable with the amount that the repairs would cost and he even went out of his way to find several different parts companies to get me the best price that he could. my car was fixed within just a few short hours and i haven't had an issue since then. I will be bringing my car back again and again and again until I sell it and then I'll be bringing my new car to jay!!! all i can say is take your car to jay he will make it right! more

I really appreciate all the hard work that jay and the guys at edwards did for my car. The pricing at edwards was competitive if not lower than the other places who I won't mention :), I was given a ride home, kept in contact about everything that was happening to my car and then when it came to the bill Jay even worked with me because it was a little more than I could spend (even though it was lower than the other places lol!) The car rides like a dream now and I can honestly say that I couldn't be happier with the results, thanks jay and the guys at Edwards!!!!!!! more

teh guys at edwards were just great, they took care of me and my car and even though i dint have alot of money i was still able to get my ride fixed. my car is running like a brand new 1 now and i cant thank the guys at ed's enough! if i ever need anything else done to any of my cars i will def take it back to jay n the guys at edwards transmissions!!!!!! more
