Earl's Restaurant Park Meadows-pick another establishment 3/5/2011

Choosed Earl's Park Meadows to start off Denver restaurant week and WHAT A MISTAKE. Checking in with the rude hostesses set the tone for the entire dining experience. The bar was over flowing with patrons and the music was very loud. The hostess brought us to a table next to the bar. When we asked for a different table the teenie bopper explained that they were over booked for tables that evening. THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY. Next our waitress was nice but the slow service was unbelievable. The entry was cold, over salted and overall terrible. When we walked out, 2 hours later, the dining area had no less than a dozen tables empty. THANK YOU EARLS HOSTESS STAFF for making our evening out the pits! more

Earl's Restaurant Park Meadows 9/1/2010

Four of us went to Earl's Restaurant at Park Meadows for dinner. The wine was delicious and the caesar salad very good. We all ordered chicken dishes..Cajan and also the baked chicken dish...both were absolutely terrible. This was our first and final visit to Earl's.. more

Great Food Great People 5/8/2009

With a newly renovated Patio, dinning at earls Park Meadows was an absolute fabulous time. 80 degree weather sipping on a chilled glass of Guenoc Pinot Grigio while savoring the flavors of their ever popular Santa Fe Chicken Salad each taste bud being perfectly satisfied with the tastes of fresh feta cheese, sweet dates, spicy cajun chicken in a scrumptious peanut lime vinaigrette. I can't wait to go back! Next time I may just have 2 orders of Dry Ribs for lunch.... They are that good! Pros: Signature Appetizers and Salads To Die For more

It's all downhill 12/9/2008

Use to be a great place to go. Lots of socializing, great drinks prices and really good food. Now, the service is horrible, the food average and half the drinks taste watered down. The myth that it's a great place to meet someone is just that...a myth. Most people are there to try to look better then the person next them. The staff is more interested in doing shots and talking with the guys at the bar then getting the customer's orders right..... Cons: Poor service more

Horrible 7/6/2008

I went there with a date and the manager was planted firmly in the bar hitting an a young brunette, I know this because after a meal with terrible service I passed him on my way out and he slung a ""thanks for coming in"" over his shoulder. I told him that my experience was horrible and that I would not be back... the cook in the kitchen opposite expressed more concern. I later called from my car to complain and ""Dan"" the manager had nothing to offer me as a customer... I will NEVER go there again and will do everything in my power to keep others I know from dining there. Earls has gone WAY down hill. more

The staff is too drunk to work!! 3/19/2008

I used to like this place. Now when I go in the whole staff is too drunk to work. Nagel the bartender is the worst. I dont think he has seen a sober day in his life!!! I will never go back! Pros: Hot girls, but getting younger by the day Cons: The service!!! more

Lousy service and lots of flies 9/10/2007

We went to Earl's and thought we would sit outside because it was a beautiful evening. I have never seen so many flies (and I don't mean barflies either) as they had on their outside patio area. We moved indoors and found a table and had a lot of trouble getting service. The waitress never checked on us and we had to flag her down whenever we saw her. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: Close to Park Meadows Mall Cons: Flies and poor service more

steaks and shots 8/28/2007

I stopped by Earls on a thursday night to meet my buddy for a drink. The restaurant was packed when we arrived at 5:30. We sat in the bar after waiting a bit for a table to open up. The bar was full with great people and a fun atmosphere. It seemed more like a downtown scene rather than a suburban one. I had a 7 oz serlion with mashed potatoes and a house salad. I thought the food was fantastic and even though the place was very busy we got our food quickly. While chatting with our waitress who told us that Earls is packed like that almost every day because they have so many ""regulars."" After our meal I tested some of the bartenders favorite shots which were being well recieved throughout the bar. Earls was really cool, there aren't many places where steaks and shots are so well mixed. more

Great service and atmosphere, average food 8/8/2007

Earl's is an average restaurant when it comes to food quality (although I haven't tried their ""speciality"" - the burger). Their salads and chicken are pretty bland, but I really enjoyed their dynamite tempura shrimp roll appeitizer.\r \r Of course, any of you gentleman who've experienced Earl's knows that you're not necessarily there for the food. It has a great atmosphere, kind of reminds me of a Country Club game room or something. Leather chairs in the lobby, dark toned, clean, classy. Absolutely the most attractive all-female waitstaff in Denver and they do a great job with service. Very professional and courteous.\r \r It's a great restaurant for client or business lunches/dinners, therefore I'd definitely recommend it. Also, the lunch prices are very reasonable. Pros: Atmophere, all the beautiful ladies Cons: Food is nothing to write home about more

worst food in denver area - save your money go elsewhere 1/1/2007

My wife and I were over by the Park Meadows mall and wanted to try something new on News Years Day 2007. We arrived a little after 3 pm, there was a lite crowd in the bar area and only a few people in the dining room. After being seated and receiving our menus, we waited about 10 minutes for our server. My wife wanted a steak so she decided on the 8 oz filet mignon with white rice for $29.95, and I decided on the rueben sandwich and a salad with blue cheese dressing for $9.95. My salad arrived with the entree and\r was not fresh so I had to pick out the bad pieces, but the blue cheese dressing was very good. My entree,\r the rueben sandwich on rye bread was burnt black, so it immediately returned to the kitchen after a very\r minor protest by the server which ended when I said, OK then please ask the manager to come to our table.\r At this point, my wife had started on her 8 oz filet mignon. It was overcooked to well when she had requested medium. She asked me to taste it and I stated that it did not even taste like a steak but more like someone had sliced off a piece of roast beef and served that. About that time, the re-make of my rueben sandwich arrived, this time not burnt and with very stale tasting sauerkraut. At this point, we both decided to stop eating, pay our bill, and leave. Our server did notice that I did not eat the sandwich and once I explained, the rueben sandwich was taken off the bill. My wife ate very little of her food as well.\r I should mention that we were both in a great mood when we arrived at the restaurant.\r So, save your money and get better food somewhere else. My wife says that the food was poorly prepared and used low quality ingredients. Pros: free parking, comfortable booths Cons: bad food, ok service, very pricey for the quality delivered more

Best Burger in town! 12/5/2006

I'm not sure how the Bent Fork got voted number 1 for the best burger. We went there today (Bent Fork) to have the best burger in town (per CitySearch). It doesn't come close to a burger at Earl's. Earl's has the best burger in the Denver Metro hands down. Absolutely no compromises. Go to Earl's, have the burger, you'll be impressed. Pros: Amazing food, great service Cons: You'll pay an extra dollar or two, but it is the best burger in town. more

More than the girls 8/5/2005

I often here people complain that the girls at earls are airheads because they are attractive... what about the guys working there... but I digress. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is great. Great selection of wine and liquors. I have entertained many people in town for business... women and men... and they all love the place! Make reservations on a Friday night more

Girls--oops I mean Earl's 6/14/2005

It is almost a running joke about Earl's and the female staff there, the management should focus more on hiring waitstaff that have some brains instead of beauty...constant mistakes, wrong food brought to the table, etc. This place I feel is strictly for men who want to drink and look at pretty girls (and what red blooded American man doesn't) but if you want good service and great food go elsewhere. Cons: airhead waitstaff, food only so-so, smoky more

A great place for lunch, happy hours, or dinner 6/7/2005

I really enjoyed this place. The staff was very attentive. The food was fantastic. Margarita mondays are great with $2 margaritas of all flavors. The steaks are great as are the soups. I have been there 20 times - and I will probably triple that number in the next year! Don't miss out on the wine selection - one of the best in town Pros: steaks, wine, desserts more

Go to CPK of chinese 1/14/2003

Skip earls and go to the Cali Pizza Kitch or that chinese food place up there. This earls is really slow and was disappointing. Having been to a few earls thoughout british columbia and alberta (calgary), I was expecting the same food and atmosphere as well as service (it was good in Canada) but left with no desire to return. more

Another Chain with Unattentive Service 10/7/2002

The Corporate progaganda claims, ""At earls, we believe that every customer should be treated like an honoured guest."" Chains usually lack consistency. In Canada, this might be true but here in the states expect service to be slow, unattentive, and focused more upon their personal life outside of their current job of serving customers. Food was good but was out of line when considering the price. If you like dark stained wood and low lighting dining with cigarette smoke from the bar you will love Earl's decor at this location. I would only recommend Earl's in Edmonton, Canada. Cons: Service, cigarette smoke more

Great place to relax 7/23/2002

Service has always been excellent for me at this place. The beer flows easily and the food is well worth the menu price. Unlike a lot of restaurants in the area, I don't tend to notice people in a bad way, and yes, the Earl's girls are wonderful. Pros: Beer, Excellent appetizers Cons: Parking lot overload, Crowded more
