My Story:
My mother-in law passed away after a long illness. She always wanted to be buried in a plain, simple pine box casket. She thought traditional caskets were a large expense and much too fancy a casket for the short time it is viewed. The funeral home did not offer the option of a pine casket. Because I have woodworking skills and thought so much of my mother in-law, I decided to build her a custom, handcrafted pine casket. It was such a rewarding experience and one I will not soon forget. That one pine casket inspired me to create Dust to Dust Pine Caskets, a company that provides a personal, beautiful and an affordable alternative to traditional caskets.
