Have used their service for years. They used to be careful about clothes they handled. The service is getting worse since this year. Brought my coat to clean and the separated hat...

Brought clothes here for years with no problems. Then bought a new jacket, wore it once, brought it here for dry cleaning. When I picked it up, it had stains on it. There was a letter from the owner to the store where I bought the jacket, telling them to let me return it and saying they should get their money back from the manufacturer because the jacket was defective. I wrote the owner, but haven't heard back from him. Not the best way to do business. I'm not going back. They're fine until they ruin your clothes. more

I dropped my comforter to this cleaner. They didn't get anything cleaned instead adding few dark spots. I went back talked to the manager and he has no customer experience. He just repeated his same sentence again and again. He didn't offer to take back and dry clean again. The owner wasn't in the shop at the time and he couldn't tell me when I can reach to the owner. I've been calling and calling. No one answers the phone and you can't leave a message. I had to toss my silk comforter away after I paid $20 cleaning. If they had told me they couldn't clean it at least I wouldn't have lost my $20. The shop runs poorly and the owner is never there to solve the business issues. There is no number or email to discuss the problems with the owner. This is my first time trying this dry cleaning place. I'll never used them again and will tell all my friends not to use them. I hate this dry cleaning shop. more

HORRIBLE! AWFUL! This is the worst place ever! Everyone please don't go there!! I just picked up my dry clean and my favorite shirt is completely ruined! I even cried at the store! And the guy at the front desk doesn't even have the courtesy to apologize! I wish CitySearch would let me post a pic of the ruined short! The place asked you to sign something and used that as an excuse to ruin your shirt!! IT'S THE WORST BIRTHDAY EVER!! more

Absolutely awful. 11/9/2011

I have not encountered this level of terrible customer service in a while. Not only are they incredibly selective as to the types of fabrics and items they will accept, they also quote extremely long wait times (up to 6 WEEKS for a blanket!) The people at the desk are in general, haughty, rude, and unhelpful. The last time I went there, I had an interview the day before and nother interview the following day and desperately needed same-day service for my suit. The woman literally laughed at me. I felt belittled, and as if my patronage was completely unimportant. It's cool though, if you think you're too good to run a customer-oriented business, I am more than happy to take my money to an non-American-owned dry-cleaners where I will receive friendly service for half the cost. more

Terrible !!!!! 9/29/2011

I just picked up my order and my clothes were not clean at all! Linen pants still had the deep creases at the waist band and upper leg from my wearing...looks like the legs may have been pressed. All of my clothes smelled dirty! I don't believe anything was cleaned at all....the items were all summer dress clothes worn to various outdoor events and weddings.....in other words, they smelled dirty when I brought them in, but there were no stains to remove. Just simple dry cleaning and pressing. I don't trust them to ask them to redo. I'll never go back. I'd say you get what you pay for, but, I'm out thirty bucks and still need my clothes cleaned! more

Poor Customer Service & Beware of Their Coupons 5/5/2010

Location is convenient for me so I go there when I am in a hurry but the customer service is always marginal (rude employees). Having heard to many negative experiences from friends, I would never take anything I valued to them. Also, beware of their coupon offers. I used one of their coupons when dropping off some items. The employee accepted the coupon and charged me accordingly. However, when I returned to pick up my clothing I was told the coupon was no good and I would have to pay full price before they would give me my clothing. Pros: Cheap Cons: Poor customer service; coupon offers can""t be trusted more

They took my coupon from 2007! 1/26/2010

I've been going to Dry Clean Warehouse for years and last week I found one of their coupons for free dry cleaning that expired in November 2006. I took it with me anyway and was surprised that the manager honored it, even though I was over 3 years late. Thanks! Pros: Lowest price cleaners in Chapel Hill Cons: Is a little out of the way for me more

Bad experience 1/9/2010

The dress shirt I took to get dry cleaned was returned without having been pressed or starched. It did not appear to be cleaned at all. When I returned the employee refused to press the shirt. There are plenty of other, more reliable options in Chapel Hill. more

Horrible place 9/3/2009

never apologized, say they donated them b/c there was no phone number on them. We go every week. They treat people horribly. Over 600$ in work clothes gone. Kind of heartbreaking Cons: lost 5 shirts and 2 wool slacks more

DO NOT TAKE CLOTHS HERE--- HORRIBLE!!! 6/1/2008

The reviews I have read are ALL TRUE! I had the same experience. I would not take my pet worm's shirt to them. I had two spots that were from a tomato that I had them sticker. The SAME exact spots were on there AND THE STICKERS!!! they hung my two sweaters on wire hangers that stretched out the neck line with those little bubbled ribbed parts on the shoulder line from the hanger indentation. When complaining about the stains, he did nothing.. AT ALL. This plays coins the term ""You get what you pay for"". I totally agree that all they do stick your cloths in a steam room with fabreze! STAY AWAY! Pros: NONE- ZERO Cons: EVERYTHING. Horrible service, does not clean cloths, doesnt care either more

Bad service, bad cleaning job. AVOID THIS DISASTER 1/3/2008

Snooty when I dropped off clothing, and a disaster of bad dry cleaning afterwards. They returned a shirt with a stain it didn't have on it before. I'm not sure the shirt was even cleaned at all; it certainly wasn't starched, and it doesn't look pressed. They may have febreezed it and returned for all I can tell. And what's more idiotic, they pack a white dress shirt next to a black sweater, so it is covered in lint by the time it's home. A dry cleaner with five cents of intelligence can figure out that mistake. Avoid this place, find somewhere else. Pros: Cheap Cons: You get less than you pay for. And you don't pay much. more

THE WORSE PLACE I'VE EVERY BEEN TO! 10/2/2007

They ruined my brand new French Connection dress that I only wore once. They put a huge black stain on it and then wouldn't replace it or give me anything for it when I brought it back. The manager was so rude. When i walked in and pointed out the stains he told me I had to wait because he was counting the coins in the register! I told him that I thought customers come first and he said no and if i didn't stop talking he would be counting for an hour. This is the worse place I've ever been to and I would NEVER recommend going there unless you want your nice clothing ruined and wanted to be treated awful Pros: nothing Cons: put stains on your clothes, rude, unhelpful more

stain warehouse 1/9/2007

This seems to be a theme in the reviews, but they damaged one of my shirts and refused to replace, or even try and re-clean it without a receipt (who keeps three week old dry cleaning receipts?). I'm thinking the buck per shirt you save for laundering isn't really worth $80 for a new shirt every few months... Pros: cheap Cons: poor quality more

Be careful, the manager said you get what you pay for. 12/15/2006

I took a new blouse from Ann Taylor, I only wore it once, and it came back with a large hole in the front of the blouse. The manager told me you get what you pay for .He also said if I have expensive items or items that are important to me he would reccomend that I send them to a different cleaner. He said they are too busy to be bothered by this and he offered to give me a small lint brush in exchange for ruining my $120 blouse. more

Don't Take Your Clothes Here! 4/3/2006

They also lost my clothes. With no apologies, not even an offer to refund the dry cleaning cost for the lost piece of clothing, they are giving me the run around about my lost item. It has been 7 weeks since I last saw my sweater. They treat me as if I lost it!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I also had to have a couple items re-cleaned. GO ELSEWHERE! Pros: None, None, None Cons: Service, Cleaning, Lost Items more

you get what you pay for, and maybe lose a bit 3/18/2006

Ok, it is cheaper than the other cleaners . . . until your clothes start getting destroyed or lost. The owner is never available for complaints, and the managers are embarrassed but powerless. Accountability and customer satisfaction are not important to this place . . . our clothing was destroyed and no one would talk to us about the problem! Pros: location, cost Cons: quality, customer service more
