Best

We arrived before going to the theatre. Service was lackluster and the beef was gristle quality. If you want to try different kinds of sake they have quite a collection, but if yo...

The food was ok, good. Not great. The service was terrible.

Great Drinks & Appetizers... Sushi?? Not so much 7/18/2007

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant after hearing positive things about the food. I tried a few of the sushi rolls, while he tried the appetizers. We both had the drinks which were great... I highly recommend the Lime Ricky, it's made with their lemongrass infused vodka... Very good. My husband and I both enjoyed the appetizers... The sushi, however, left much to be desired. It actually tasted store bought which was a huge disappointment. If you decide to go try the appetizers instead. Pros: Happy Hour, Drinks & Appetizers Cons: Sushi more

I really like their happy hour, fancy decor, interesting variety of mixed drinks. Reservations first though to save the wait time more

good food... nothing too special 7/13/2007

Food here is pretty good although its a little bit pricey. I ordered california roll which wasn't too great... try the Korean BBQ Kalbi though its delicious. Waiter/service was friendly and great. Pros: Good location (walkable to all the shopping malls in downtown), food, good service Cons: pricey, sushi not too good more

Good food, awful service/server 3/26/2007

In Seattle for the weekend...was a convenient place downtown. Cute decor, nice atmosphere. Tasty food....bulgogi was not authentic, but still good. Squid appetizer was very good, roasted duck spring rolls blah. Server might as well have been in Asia for all we knew....did not say ONE thing to us. Seemed to be quite attentive to the people ordering drinks though...Tiny portions and expensive...not a good combo, but had a good time overall. Pros: Pretty tasty food Cons: AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL service more

Wonderful Place for Lunch! 3/4/2007

We enjoyed lunch at Dragonfish while spending the day window-shopping our way through downtown Seattle. Since we both love trying new things, we ordered several appetizers and split them. Every one we tried was a triumph of spice and flavor ~ we'll be back again very soon!!! more

Too Bad they are rude 1/29/2007

I've eaten at Dragonfish more times then I can count... Let me rephrase I have eaten in the restaurant twice and received the worst service imaginable. They food is always so good, but now I only do take out. Pros: good food Cons: bad attitudes more

Happy hours are great 11/21/2006

I've never eaten off the main menu, just happy hour, and I love it! The bosa nova roll is my fave, and I'll usually get calamari (which has the BEST tipping sauce ever), potstickers, and ahi. Prices are great and service is pretty good. There's always good people watching to be done there, too. Pros: great happy hour, people watching Cons: parking more

Awful Service, mediocre food 10/28/2006

The food is not worth the terrible service at Dragonfish. My friends and I went here for a working lunch and our waiter was arrogant, unattentive and completely unhelpful. And a bit of a meathead if you ask me. He not only couldn't answer my friend's question about the content of the various sauces but he was totally unwilling to help her with a creative solution for her allergy needs. All he had to do was ask the cook. A plate of steamed veggies would have dine the trick but apparently this was too much trouble for our server to manage. Pros: Uh... Cons: inexcusable service more

Terrible Service, Average Food 9/16/2006

I went here for happy hour after reading all of it's good reviews..but I have to say, I did not enjoy my visit there at all. The hostesses are rude and careless. And service all around wasn't great either. The food was just OK. Nothing too special, it's a good thing the prices were great. Overall, I've decided not to go here again, happy hour prices or not. Pros: Cheap sushi and drinks during Happy Hour. Cons: No parking, terrible service, the bar area is tiny. more

The happy hour plates are so yummy you'll start salivating just thinking of them! 6/24/2006

First off, how very cool to offer both a standard and a 10pm to 1am Happy Hour - and on the weekend at that?? The ""small plates"" are both inexpensive ($1.95 to $3.95) and incredibly delectable. My faves include the Lime Rickey Shrimp, the Caramel Ginger Chicken, the Hichimi Squid and the Edamane. The drinks are tasty and the beers ice cold. more

Quite possibly the worst service in Seattle 5/21/2006

I don't think I've ever had worse service anywhere. Waitress took 10 minutes just to take our drink order. Our appetizer came before we even had water on the table--I had to ask the server for water. The busgirl took our appetizer plates/chopsticks and tried to take my tea (""are you done with your tea?"") before our entrees came. Food comes, no chopsticks to eat with. Waitress took my tea to refill it but never brought it back. My boyfriend had a disappointing martini--not chilled with olives tossed in (no toothpick). Although the food was decent, you couldn't pay me to eat here again. Pros: Decent food, Attractive restaurant, Mood lighting Cons: Bad service, Inexperienced staff more

Great Happy Hour! 5/12/2006

Get there early for happy hour! Pretty good food for reasonable prices. Drinks were fairly stiff. Pros: Happy hour more

Great for happy hour--but otherwise, forget it. 2/8/2006

One of my favorite happy hour places because of their $2.95 cocktails (only four though). Even though they say it's from 4-6pm, I've shown up at 5:45pm and been told it's over. Definitely go early on busy Friday nights. I really enjoy their selection of small plates that are either $2.95 or 3.95--my favorites are their crab cakes, crab wontons, chicken potstickers and chicken satays. Sushi is $1.95. If you were to order these same dishes after 6pm, you would get the same portion, at double the price. Service is hit and miss, but for happy hour, I honestly don't really mind. It's a hotel restaurant--they don't expect you to come back, and it shows. But if you want cheap yet strong drinks and good food, I would definitely recommend. A note about bathrooms: be prepared to go back into the hotel lobby and take the elevator up two floors. Pros: location, price, good food Cons: expensive for meals, lackluster service, loud more

I have been here about 4 times and each time was great drinks and sushi. more

Great Food 10/28/2005

This restaurant has wonderful food with a big selection. We took a friend of mine that doesn't usually branch out from American or Italian food. She still had a great time and found some food that she liked. We had her get the California rolls and she actually ate them! That's a big step in the right direction for her, so they must be doing something right. :) I had a wonderful time. I will be going back. more

Pan-Asian? 7/27/2005

My first visit, I waited 45 minutes for a table, despite having a reservation. I went with friends on my first visit to Dragonfish and was impressed by a large drink menu, but not impressed by the small plates. These plates are indeed quite small, and quite expensive. After ordering them, they showed up and were decent, but way too pricey for what you get. We left hungry, despite a $200 tab and each person having 2-3 drinks. My second visit was much the same, but we had to wait an hour for a table - despite having a reservation. It is very hard, apparently, to seat a large group here. Pros: easy parking Cons: slow service, expensive, bad for large groups more

Horrible, Horrible Service!! 12/9/2004

We made reservations 2 weeks in advance and the staff did not have the reservations. I showed up 1/2-hour early & tried to solve this dilema w/ the staff. They were unsympathetic to our problem. The staff refused to help us find another restaurant or seat us (we had time constraints do to a show at the Paramount). The staff ended up trying to shove us into a 4-person booth (we had 6) in the bar. The bar was incredibly smokey and we had an 11-month old child. This was unacceptable, we left. The staff sat about 30-40 people while they ignored us. Cons: , Disorganized Staff, Rude Staff more

Fun place, good food 11/14/2004

The arrangement of the dining room was a little peculiar, as there could have been more table space, but the food was flavorful and the service was fast. The items seem a little pricey for what we got, but they tasted good and the overall experience was enjoyable. Pros: selection, service Cons: , noisy more
