This vet is so friendly , you feel like they care about your pet and not about making money. They aren't trying to sell you anything you don't need, and don't try and guilt you in...

Knowledge & Understanding 9/8/2011

Whenever I need any sort of help with my Yorkie's health, or anything, I always turn to Downtown Veterinary Clinic. Their knowledge, and thorough explanations really help us pet owners understand the concerns we may have. I highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone who loves their pets more

Best Care 9/6/2011

So one day I walk outside my house, and there sits this little puppy. I had no clue of what to do. I remember a friend used to work at Downtown Veterinary Clinic, so I decided to bring the little guy there. I never had the intention of keeping him, but when they told me he's as healthy as could be, and gave him all his shots, I decided to keep him, and now we're the best of friends. I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone at that pet clinic, cause they took the best care of me and the little guy. more

Only place to go 9/6/2011

When I got my little puppy, I knew exactly where to go to get all her puppy shots, and to get her ""fixed"". Downtown Veterinary Clinic is the only place to go for all your pets health needs. If I were an animal, I'd hope my owners would take me there! more

Very clean facility. Super friendly staff. Genuine and compassionate vets. My dog and cat are treated with so much care, I know their in good hands. Thank you Downtown Veterinary Clinic for being the best. more

Gentle Clinic 8/17/2011

I am so happy that I was able to find an animal clinic that I can trust with my 2 dogs. They are so gentle and friendly. They do great quality work. Just knowing that I can trust them is huge to me. Thank you. more

Taken Care Of 8/3/2011

I had to take my black lab in to the Downtown Vet Clinic for his 6 month check up. The vet was so friendly great with my dog. The office is nice and very clean. Dougie loves to go there and get taken care of. Thank you for making him feel so at home. more

Best Vet 8/3/2011

I took my kitten into the Downtown Vet Clinic because she kept throwing up and I thought that something bad was really bad. When I went in they were able to take her right away. They were able to give her some kind of medicine and said within the next couple of hours she would be ok. The vet was so friendly and understanding how scared I was for my kitten. Thank you so much to the Downtown Vet Clinic. more

I take my kitty to this clinic whenever she needs anything, and I really like it here. She's kind of a fickle little thing and she doesn't really like a lot of people, but the staff here are really great and really know how to handle her. more

I Love Them and My Dogs Love Them More 7/20/2011

I'm not really sure if I'm the one that should be determining Downtown Vet Clinic's rating, but since my dogs aren't old enough to have a Google account I guess I will write one for them.... Suki & Kiko seem to love the vet, even when I am just walking by with them they get all excited and try to break through the door to get in. My dogs both have food allergies and I was in and out of the vet a lot the first year and they were always able to get me in quickly. Also, when my uber-senior citizen cat got sick last year they gave her quality care that got her back on all 4 feet. more

Unfortunately, our family dog is very old and sick and we come here a lot. I am so grateful we found a vet that we can rely on and trust. They've given us so many years, we thought we wouldn't have, with our little baby. Thank you! more

House calls 7/13/2011

The best thing about Downtown Vet Clinic is that they do house calls. I can't always leave the house and it's great that they can come to me. The people are so kind and caring. It's a beautiful and wonderful place for your pets! more

I love this place! Dr. Ficarra clearly loves animals, and it shows in the way she handles and treats them. I take my puppy and two young cats there and we are always seen promptly, in clean. Her techs are also very friendly and good at what they do. more

Dr. Ficarra is a Godsend! 6/28/2011

I wish Dr. Ficarra also treated humans! She is so caring and thorough that goes above and beyond the norm. She not only treats my Sparky thoroughly and with warmth,(her love of animals is instantly apparent) but, explains whats going on and how to keep him healthy and safe. She has never tried to sell me products that he did not need, or been flippant about my concerns. She has also has called to follow upon his progress when he had been sick. She is a Godsend! more

Although I live over an hour away in Westchester, I have been taking my cats to the Downtown Vet Clinic since 1997. I continue to be impressed by Dr. Ficarra's formidable knowledge of veterinary medicine, compassion towards animals and overall fantastic personality. The staff are also friendly, caring, professional and organized. Dr. Ficarra provides thorough exams, reasonable fees and best of all, sets your mind at ease that your companion is receiving the best care possible. I highly recommend her clinic. more

Reliable Compassinate Expertise 11/13/2009

I have been a pet owner for most of my adult life (67 years) and have been to several vets in Chelsea but none have matched the care provided by DR. Ficarra and her staff. They are there when you need them and include you in any decision making your pets health care and welfare. As a nurse for the past 45 years I wish more ""people"" physicians were like her!
