I went to Douglas VW not knowing what to expect. I haven't bought a new car in 15 years, and with all the stories you hear I expected the worst. When I arrived I met Nick Malanga. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He helped me find a car I didn't even think of looking at and turned out it met my needs the best. Needless to say, I am a happy camper! more

three years ago I went to Douglas VW to buy a VW, and met with Tito. He was great, he had all the answers to my questions and gave me a very honest feel which is hard to find in the car business! Well three years later my lease was coming due and it was time to get into a new VW and I heard that Tito left, but when I decided it was time to make my deal I went to Douglas I saw Tito their, and OMG was I soooo happy because I felt that not only was I going to taken good cared of but I was also going to get a great deal! Alright before I start this review on Douglas Volkswagen dealership in Summit, NJ. I have to say I've been to about 6 dealerships in the last 6 months trying to get approved for the car I wanted. I'm 22, not much credit established..couldn't really do much on my own. Which was a 5th Gen Camaro. I was turned down by every dealership I went to. Then I stumbled over Douglas Volkswagen while searching on Cars.com. The process was like I expected, give my information and wait for something to come back, at least that's the way the other dealerships did me. With Douglas, I sat down with a special finance professional, Dave, who has bent over backwards to get me the car of my dreams and the color and model I wanted. He walked me through the entire process. Told me why I was denied from previous dealerships, but the fact that he told me what the discrepancy was, is great. I was turned down for a reason I wasn't clear about even with a co-signer who has nearly perfect Credit score with the other guys. It was hassle getting my deposit back from the other guys. Dave, ensured that he could get me approved and the car I wanted. I He located the car and had it shipped from California, took nearly 2 weeks to come because of all the weather. But it came, and I drove off the lot with the car that same day. Nearly 2 weeks later with the car I'm grateful for all the hard work he put in to help me. My first car and it has been an All around great experience with this dealership thanks to Dave. I'm still Stoked about it! more

II had an awesome experience with Dave it was easy and painless. My car had broken down and I was without transportation which made it very difficult to get around especially when I work seven days a week. I purchased my 2007 Volkswagen GTI at a dealer that is about 5 minutes away from my home. After having a terrible experience after my first visit for service, I decided to venture out to Douglas Volkswagen after a friend referred me to Rick Szucs. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for this man. He is not only extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field, but he is truly a genuine person and really takes the time to get to know you on a personal level. For the past 6 years I have driven close to an hour to take my Volkswagen to no other than Douglas for anything that I need. I have sent countless friends and family to Rick because I am confident that they will get the same level of service that I do. No where else will you find such a customer service orientated staff who's best interest is to do the right thing for their customers, nor will you find another service adviser like Rick who will call you on your birthday to send you their best wishes. It is this type of business that grows lasting relationships and consistently exceeds expectations. I can honestly say that Rick Szucs is the only reason I will ever buy a Volkswagen again, because I fear that if I buy any other vehicle I will have to deal with someone other than Rick. more
