Very disappointing! 11/17/2008

We met with our DJ prior to the event (you pay an extra $200 do be able to do that), told him what we wanted (good latin segment), and what we did not want. Either he was amnesiac or simply not into it, but it's exactly as if we had not given him any guidelines. Some of the songs, he played several times, as if he was running out of ideas. He played the same three latin songs over and over.\r People did dance during the evening, but our event could have been MUCH MORE fun with a good DJ. more

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!! 5/16/2008

These people are HORRIBLE!! I provided a list of songs and asked that ONLY those songs be played.....i dont think I heard any. It was so boring until finally a family friend had to tell the DJ to get it together. The speakers were not outside as I was promised so no one out side knew what was going on. It was just a mess!!! Get another DJ now!!!! more

Beware!!! 5/5/2008

Dj's unlimited was a complete disaster when we hired them for our wedding reception. The DJ arrived late and no idea what songs he was supposed to be playing for the first dance, the father/bride dance or the mother/son dance. We had to walk the DJ through the entire process when he arrived. It was extremely hectic trying to enjoy our wedding reception while babysitting the DJ. I'm not sure how someone could be so clueless. We even met with the President of DJ's unlimited to go over the day's events and what song were going to be played and when they were going to be played. It was very obvious that the president of the company did not relay any of this information to his DJ. \r \r We called the following day after our event to discuss the matter with the President of the company. At the time he was very receptive and sympathized with us. He told me he would discuss the matter and get back with me. A week went by and we heard nothing. I finally called again and was told he was out of the office, but would get back to me as soon as he got in. Once again I heard nothing back from. I called again and he answered the phone. I was basically told that the story his DJ gave conflicted with the story my wife and gave. We were basically told we were lying. I had a lot of feedback from our wedding and the only complaint from our guest we received were in regards to the DJ. It was very very painful and almost comical that DJ?s unlimited would represent themselves in this sort of fashion.\r \r Do your research when choosing a DJ company. There are a lot of great companies in Houston that care about there clients. DJ?s unlimited is not one of these companies. Once you pay these guys their entire attitude changes towards their clientele. more

Wonderful Wedding DJ 4/26/2005

My husband and I stressed over hiring a DJ for a wedding after hearing so many horror stories. DJs Unlimited was recommended to us over and over again. We could not have been happier. They are very easy to work with including a website that allows you to manage everything from your home computer (request list, do not play list, attire, special instructions, etc.) They showed up early and were the last ones to leave. The guests loved the music and their energy level. It was very professional without any cheesy gimmicks. The DJ did a better job of coordinating the reception then my wedding coordinator!! Pros: Professional, Upbeat, Crowd loved them more
