Dinette Center

AVOID!!... the other Dinette place off of Stemmons Freeway. (the large blue building) They run a very ""shady"" business there. Family owned they say... They owe me $430 and refuse to pay me back. I never even received my furniture! My husband went there to speak with him and the guy with the accent yelled at him. I am currently working with the BBB to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. They have cheaper quality furniture also. We were happy to find Dinette center after such a bad experience with the other place. Good quality sets at even better pricing. Thank you to the employess at Dinette Center for being professional and kind. more

I had the ability to not only look on their floor of nearly 100 sets, but also thumb through books and books of beautiful sets until I found the perfect set for my house. Working with the employees at the Dinette Center was like a family style relationship. From start to finish the process was easy and my family is extremely excited with the quality and pricing of the set we went with. I have been a customer of the Dinette Center for many years now, and would recommend it to anyone looking for any type of tables/chairs/barstools/etc...I bought a breakfast table w/chairs a while back and have been very pleased with it. I just recently purchased a new kitchen table from Dinette Center and have been very pleased with my purchase. The large beautiful selection in the store made it very difficult to pick just one but with great service, I was able to find the perfect table for my kitchen. It was overall a great shopping experience and I would definitely recommend the Dinette Center to others. Service, quality and selection all exceeded my expectations. more

I went to the dinette center to buy a new table and chairs for my breakfast room. They had such a great selection and the owner himself helped me find the perfect set for my home. The set arrived on time and is really good quality. The store also has some great wall art that I bought and looks wonderful in my home. I would definitely recommend the dinette center! I completely agree with the first reviewer above. Both the sales persons (or owners) in the store were very rude. Though they were nice at times, there were at least a couple of instances when they came across as very rude. I will never revisit that store and of course never buy anything from there. By the way, this is the first time I have ever posted a review on the web. But I was so disgusted with my experience at the dinette center that I decided to review it. If you want friendly, customer service then you need to go elsewhere. The owner of this store and one of the sales people (older gentlemen) do not seem to be interested in selling their furniture. I asked one day if the salesman had a tape measure to measure a table and he responded with ""there's probably one around here somewhere"" but never moved to get one. The last time I was there after looking at a particular set several times and was undecided on which color, asked if we could take 1 chair ea. of both colors home to see which worked the best and was told yes. Went to pick them up at closing time thinking this was best option for both parties and planned to have them back when store opened the next morning but was told no...could not ""break the sets up"" and have 2 off the floor. Doesn't make sense as store would be closed. Yet we could have bought 1 of the sets, taken it home and then brought it back the next day and exchanged it as that is evidently allowed as on one visit a customer was there exchanging a set he had bought the day before. Evidently the economic downturn of the world today is not affecting this owner as he missed out on a sure sale with his set of rules that make no sense.
