I live in a condo building that is styled like an Italian Villa and everyone could hear the loud rumbling sound of my Air Conditioner. I have an upstairs home office and my old central AC unit would barely cool the upstairs but freeze the downstairs. Dial ONE Schilling installed a mini-split AC unit upstairs and it is so quiet and effective - it cools the entire place - one unit - cools the whole place! It is my understanding that it consumes significantly less energy. I am thinking about removing the old AC and using the space that houses the fan/distribution unit as a broom closet! #minisplit #dialoneschilling #mikemapes #joestafano more

The only fault I found in working with Dial One is the lack of transparency. I believe that it would be more professional for a company, who deals in high-end home improvement items like AC/Heating units, to let their customers know about such things like the dangers of theft due to copper thieves and the possibility of an extra expense of purchasing an AC Guard. After spending thousands on an AC unit these are not minor issues and Dial One should be more forthcoming with their customers. Other than that I was very happy with the service and their techs were great! Regarding purchasing an AC guard, although the choice is yours, we strongly discourage the installation of these types of devices. While we occasionally see theft of commercial AC equipment, it is extremely rare seeing theft of residential equipment that has little or no salvage value. Vandalism is also extremely rare. Additionally, these guards also impede the service tech to properly service your unit. The time is takes to remove and reinstall an AC guard will be reflected each and every time the unit is serviced. Dial ONE Schilling Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning fixed my air conditioning for me. I used them once maybe ten years ago so this was my second time using them. I liked that they were on time. Their service level was great and they fixed the issue. They explained the issue to me well and they did a very good job. I will definitely use them again in the future. George and his technicians Mike and Joe responded exceptionally quickly to my a/c dying during the recent heat wave. Another company told me it would be a full week before they could even get someone out to look at it. Dial ONE got someone out the very day I called. When I initially call in, George is a calming and friendly voice to start the service. Scott and Joe are great. I have had previous service from Scott and he is always friendly and professional. Scott thought ahead for us and made great suggestions for my eight-nine year young mother's bathroom. I was overwhelmed so his suggestions were much appreciated. Joe is always cleaning up so the rooms are clear of debri. You don't always find such great service with other companies. This is our go to company for all plumbing needs. Dial ONE Schilling Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning did a good job, and the guy knows what he's doing, but he charged us so much for just a half hour job. We're senior citizens and are unable to fix it ourselves. He quoted me a price just to replace the cartridge, not even the whole valve, just the cartridge and it cost $350. He had to go to a hardware store to get the cartridge, and I don't think he spent more than $5 on it. After he came back, he had the part and in a half hour he was done. The installation price was kind of ridiculous for how little time it took. When we asked for a senior discount, he said that it was already included in the charge. I would not recommend them to my friends. I would not recommend them to anybody. I'm sure they know what they're doing, but they just charged us so much for half an hour of work. I would give them a 5 out of 5 for professionalism, but a 1 out of 5 for price. more

We had Dial One Shilling Plumbing fix several things around our home. Scott did a great job on all of the projects and we are very happy with his work. We love these guys, they respond quickly, they do the work and clean up after themselves and have fair prices.
