Mateo is the only person I let touch my hair! I always feel extra beautiful when he is done..:) I have thick Mexican hair, which is a pain to get right, but he does every time!

I have naturally curly hair, and have hated it since I was little. I found Zoe (Dept Z) in January, and she has helped me to really enjoy my curly hair! She takes the time to work with me, by showing me different things I can do with my hair! Pros: Curly hair? This is for you! more

Someone understands me! Michael sat me in the chair and then we had an actual consultation. What works for me, what doesn't, my face shape, how to create balance and much more. It was by far the best cut and color I have ever had! The salon is cool and comfortable and not to mention an amazing and friendly group. I can't remember leaving a salon and going shopping just to show! GO ladies! Pros: Best block in town! more

Best Stylist ever! 11/14/2009

Zoe has been cutting and coloring my hair for 13 years and she is amazing! I trust her implicitly and simply invite her to surprise me and do whatever she wants with my hair and I have never been disappointed, in fact, I always walk out feeling fabulous. Great experience, great haircut 11/10/2009

Michael cut my hair and was amazing. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, while offering his own creative suggestions. He has great technique and gave me a cut that's both easy to do and stylish. Pros: Excellent cut--I love it! more

Zoe is the best. She took the time to actually look at my hair and the face shape, age and tell me her thoughts on how to make a change. She cut my hair at the first appointment & got compliments galore! Color job next and today I've had 3 people ask me what I've done! It is so nice to find someone who gets it! Michael at Dept Z is a true hair designer. I have never had someone make me look and feel so amazing! I can trust him to style my hair however he would like and know that I will leave looking fabulous! I have never had so many compliments on my hair and recommend him to everyone! more

She knows what color to use and how to design a hairstyle specifically to you. I recommend giving her complete freedom, I have, and never have been disapointed. I have also brought in photos of haircuts and asked her to combine them. She is the only stylest I have ever been to that could do this. You wont be disappointed. Pros: Great Hair! more

Zoe is master at her craft. Not only does she excel in hair artistry - from color to cut. She is by far the best stylist that knows how to work with curly hair in Spokane. If you have curly hair... you know sometimes it can be difficult for someone to cut it and give it a great style. Zoe concurs the curls and makes curly hair look amazing. It is such a relief to have Dept. Z in town. more

She's probably the best stylists I've ever had. I found out about her just by asking a girl on the street where she got her hair done so her work speaks for itself. Such and excellent colorist who can style hair just as well, is a rare find in my opinion. I've been a client of hers for a little while now and wouldn't dare go anywhere else. I too now get tons of compliments on my hair and peole ask me where I go all the time. I always love what she does with my hair, and the price is right, too. more
