I went into Davids bridal on The 8th of January looking for a dress. I didn't have many request just that the dress had some sparkle and that it was big because I am 4 months pregnant and when I get married I will be 7 months. The sales lady at first was nice after I pulled out two dresses that I seen. While I was trying on the two dresses, the sales lady was bringing more dresses that were no where near what I wanted and I refused to try them on. I told her I really liked the second one but there were a couple more I seen on the rack that I liked. Instantly she just said ""that's the dress,"" without even letting me try the other ones on. I put the dress on layaway after being told I could switch the dress if it wasn't the right one by another sales clerk. Well I went back today, Jan 14th and I went off on the sales clerk because first the dress that I wanted in Ivory didn't have a veil and headpiece that would match. Second I wanted to try the other dresses to make sure I was happy with my decision, and like I thought, I wasn't. I found ""The Dress,"" but now I am getting screwed out of a lot of money because the sales lady rushed me right into one dress and didn't let me look. They also failed to mention that they charge to cancel layaway's. Also, they were special ordering my dress from Albany and when I went in the store, the guy in David's bridal pulled one off the rack. For brides-to-be, don't go to David's Bridal unless it's your only resort because it's going to cause nothing but problems.
PS. my dress wont even be here in time for my original wedding date so now I have to push the date back another month!!!!! If the dress comes in and I'm not satisfied I am not purchasing the dress.
Pros: Very Beautiful dresses for brides, bridesmaids, and ect..
Cons: Pushy sales people and bad dress conditions.
