Rude and disinterested staff- average pies 12/31/2011

Visited the store for the first time today (12/31/11). It was empty except for a rude and extremely disinterested gentleman. There is a difference between being ""hip"" and being a ""dump"" (this place is a dump). The pies were jammed into a case, many overlapping. They had at least 10 different pies (no labels or way to know what is what) so I asked the employee (he was basically just standing there, doing nothing). I cannot describe how put-out he appeared when I asked him to tell me what each of the pies were. I did buy a pie- at 28.00 NOT even remotely worth the price. more

Awful customer service 10/11/2009

I visited Dangerously Delicious Pies (which is actually on Light Street, not Fleet Street) for the first time with a gift certificate. They refused to honor it or to offer any type of alternate deal. I followed up with an email to the owner and got a rude reply. I will never go back. Pros: none that I know of Cons: poor customer service, very expensive more

Maybe time has made it go downhill? 1/8/2008

I purchased pies for the holidays from Dangerously Delicious Pies in Federal Hill. The coconut cream pie tasted like lemon pie with a few toasted coconut thrown on top. The pumpkin pie was average. Not great. Definitely NOT worth $20 a pie! I also took home a chicken pot-pie the night I stopped in. It was okay, not enough gravy and NOT worth $35 (the pies are small). The only enjoyable part was the crust. As for service, average I suppose.... I wasn't impressed and for those prices I should have been. Weber's Farm pies are SOOOOOOOO much better. more

Poor customer service and no better then average pies 11/26/2007

Purchased pies for the Thanksgiving holiday. Sad to say that I was not amazed in the slightest. Pies weren't bad....just not ""Dangerously"" good, especially for the price. Pros: Average pies, some interesting recipe ideas Cons: Terrible service will keep us from ever coming back more

Check out the mention in the September 04 Bon Appetite. This place rocks, literally. Don't tell mom but these are the best pies ever. The blueberry is my favorite but peach was right behind! more

Rodney's Rockin' Pies! 5/24/2004

Simply the best pecan pie in Baltimore since Sisson's famous Bourbon Pecan Pie. If you can't get to Fell's Point to get your pie-grub on, you can also scarf down some Dangerously Delicious Pie at SoBo Cafe in Federal Hill more
