After reading other reviews about this company, i was alittle worried! I called the company to ask them a few questions, they were friendly and helpful. I decided to give them a chance and rented a vehicle for the week. I didnt have any issues with the vehicle or the company. The rates were very low and the vehicle were very clean and well maintained. I would recommend them to all my friends and family! more

RENTED A CAR FROM THEM.THEY WERE VERY NICE THE CARS WERE VERY CLEAN THEY EXPLAINED THE WHOLE CONTRACT TO ME AND I SAVED QUITE A BIT OF MONEY COMPARED TO THE MAJOR COMPANIES YES THEY ARE A SMALL BUSINESS AND ASK TO BRING THE CARS BACK CLEAN OR PAY FOR IT IN ADVANCED I SAVE OVER 300.00 OVER THE HOLIDAY SEASON IT WAS WELL WORTH THE 8.00 PREPAY CLEANING CHARGE I WILL RENT FROM THEM AGAIN Pros: SAVED A GREAT AMOUNT OF MONEY Cons: NOT OPEN ON SAT OR SUN more

Folks, make sure you get everything - and I mean everything - in writing with these guys by email. They left me and my daughter stranded at Denver airport after refusing to meet us after hours (which they agreed to do just a few days before). The reason they wouldn't meet me is that they decided they wouldn't rent me a car after dark (at 8pm - hello -- it's still light out then because it's summer). Then, after not keeping THEIR obligation to me, they charged my credit card a $100 deposit. Cut rate is right. more

I rented cars many times with big companies like Hertz, Avis etc. and never had this type of problems !! Beware of this ""cheap"" place !! more

Good prices, good cars 11/8/2010

This company is really nice and so are their cars. I am not sure what all of the bad reviews are. They explain everything and I got a contract from them. I keep my cars clean anyways so what is the big deal. I would rather have more money in my pocket than give it to someone else, Thanks Cut Rate more

BE PREPARED FOR UNJUSTIFIED CHARGES! 10/21/2010

Once they have your credit card, you are opening yourself up to them charging whatever they want. Ask them for an explanation and you won't get one. They will charge you for an unclean vehicle (even with a car wash receipt) and then for excessive mileage but again, without an explanation. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and have disputed their random charges without authorization with my credit card company. Find an honest, customer-service oriented car rental company. NOT CUT RATE BECAUSE WITH CUT RATE..YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- CUT RATE SERVICE FROM CUT RATE PEOPLE! more

Great Car - Great Price 8/9/2009

I needed a car for 9 days, beginning 7/3/2009. The big boys at the airport wanted $1200. Satellite locations for the big boys wanted $750. Cut Rate charged me $299 for the 9 days and 18 cents per mile over 550 miles. This was a no brainer! I got a 2006 Taurus, only 18K miles, with leather interior and a sun roof. Cut Rate is family owned and operated and has been in business for 26 years. Let the buyer beware 10/23/2007

I have been using rental cars for almost 40 yrs. and this was the first time I ever got charged an extra $8 for not washing the car before returning it. The car also stunk of cigarette smoke upon pick-up. My first and last time going with a non-major agency. Centennial and Denver were great. Pros: Location Cons: Not your normal car rental agency- read the contract before rental,I didn't. more
