Very unprofessional and scary! 11/23/2009

I recently came in contact with Dr. Gebroe and it was NOT a good one. After coming out of a meeting to discuss de-clawing cats in Culver City, his daughter of around 14 or 15 years of age, rudely and purposefully bumped into me as we we leaving. I went up to her to ask why she bumped into me and Dr. Gebroe told me to F off and called me a BITCH and suck my d**k, because I asked to please not rudely bump into people. She also told me to F**K off and other really bad words I would expect a 14 year old not to say. He got in my face and kept cussing at me. more

Biggest Mistake I have ever made, they brutalized my cat 8/22/2009

I will NEVER, NEVER take my cat there and I recommend that no one else take their beloved pet there. I took my cat for a urinary problem and when I picked him up he was a shell of himself. They tied him up with a rope and trimmed all 10 of his claws to a bloody pulp. He also had a gash in his back paw on the pad that they had glued up. I DID NOT GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO DO THIS!!!! And when I picked him up the Dr. didn't mention anything about all this. The Dr. was UNCARING and the receptionists were both AWFUL. NEVER TAKE YOUR ANIMALS THERE!!!!! Pros: NONE, NOT EVEN ONE Cons: TERRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER more

Culver City Animal Hospital Mutilation 8/22/2009

I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANY PET THERE!!! The receptionists are terrible, and the Vet Techs mutilated my cats paws for being unruly during a v isit. They cut all 10 of his claws to the bloody quick and glued a gash together on his back pad (caused by them). When I confronted the Dr. He said he was "too busy playing golf" to have informed me of the terror they reined on my cat. And was not around when his techs did this. NEVER, NEVER TAKE YOUR BELOVED PET THERE. RUN FAR AWAY AND NEVER LOOK BACK!!!!! more

I have known them for 3-4 years never disappointed, never needed to go back if they said DONE. The nurses are so well trained and they know what they are doing. I really like Dr. Dean Gebroe, Dr. Kitwell is okay. more

Unprofessional, unkind, disorganized... a comedy of errors! 1/21/2008

wish I had read the other reviews before taking our dog to this office. Our experience echoes the complaints of careless doctors, unkind administrative staff, and the inadequacy of the practice's arcane records & billing system. The experience was strange, and ultimately unprofessional. My husband & I have been loving pet owners for years. We've had only positive, successful relationships with vets in the past. This is our first negative veterinarian experience: Pros: None come to mind. Cons: Poor record-keeping, impolite staff, unhealthy environment more
