If you don't mind paying "Drs prices", by all means, take your car to Continental Imports. This place counts on your naivete and ignorance of parts repair, costs, and time it take...

Great Service And Hospitality 7/28/2011

Although I missed an Appointment I set up with Continental imports they couldn't have been nicer. They told me to come on in Friday afternoon, and they fit me in. The service was great! they told me it was going to take a while since I was being fitted in. That wasn't a problem because their customer lobby had complementary laptops to surf the internet. I even asked for a pair of headphones and they lent me some from the back room. Overall great people and great company. more

They do what they say they will do, and keep me informed of potential problems 7/25/2011

They have performed routine maintenance on my Subaru and my Mercedes E350. I have to assume their recommendations for service were necessary and valid. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner, and I was kept informed of all decisions during the process. They act like competent professionals. more

Outstanding service 7/25/2011

I've been taking my Acura to Continental Imports for about three years, and I have never been disappointed. Their office staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the work done on my car has always been first rate. I've never had a problem with anything they've done--it's always been fixed right the first time. There have been a couple of occasions where I asked if a particular service was needed, and they told me it wasn't necessary yet, so I always trust that they are giving me an honest evaluation of any repair work. There is always a loaner car available if needed for any reason. They are probably not the cheapest shop in town, but they are less costly than the dealerships, and being able to trust what they tell you, and know the work will be done right the first time, is certainly worth a few extra dollars. more

Great emergency help 7/20/2011

On the way home from Ocala, driving on I-75, I noticed someone signaling to me. She told me one of my headlights was out. I drove directly to Continental Imports and they fit me in (early afternoon) and replaced the defective bulb in a very short time. Phew! more

The big word is trust, and I felt I could trust them. 7/13/2011

I got the impression that Continental Imports was very honest. They explained everything to me so well, and pretty much everything they told me happened the way they said it would. The car was ready on time, and I got it back cleaner than it has been in forever, so that was really nice. It's almost like they detailed it before I got it back. It's just beautiful, and I think their prices were very fair. It's hard to find a place where you feel like you're not being taken, and I felt I could trust them. That's the big word here: trust. Heidi came in on Saturday and let us pick up our car. We could not come on Friday evening due to a dinner party at our house. She also synced the Blue Tooth for us. She is great! Thank You more

Excellent Service 7/9/2011

Continental Imports goes the distance to communicate with and satisfy their customers. I have had along relationship with the company and always have been pleased. A number of folks I know have made similar expressions. We all miss Walter Bodendorf (very resourceful person) but the company has picked up most of the slack and work diligently to service customers. more

Being going since 1978! 6/16/2011

I've been going to Continental Imports since 1978 and I've already recommended them to lots of folks. I used to have a Porsche and a Mercedes diesel. I had a bad experience with my local Mercedes in 1978 and I vowed I would never go back again. The German owner has been trained at the factory and his partner has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. It's a lot bigger than what it was in 1978, and they're a lot less expensive than the dealer. They've got people who will fix instead of replace parts. I remember I had a 1998 diesel, and its sideview mirror had stopped working. For this, you have to replace the whole mirror, which costs hundreds of dollars. The mechanic fashioned a replacement part about four years ago, which has been working great since. They saved me three hundred dollars! They obviously don't need to advertise because people find out about them through word of mouth. There is a body shop conveniently next door. more

Unsurpassed knowledge and skill. A true passion for foreign cars. 6/15/2011

I've been going to Continental Imports for 25 plus years. They have serviced all my Mercedes vehicles, and offer unsurpassed service. My current vehicle is still under warranty, but I take it to Steve instead of going back to the dealership. In fact, in the past Continental have fixed things that the dealership screwed up. They use state of the art equipment, and and their capabilities are unsurpassed. I have never had to take a vehicle to Continental for the same thing twice. They get it right the first time, and stand behind their merchandise. It they were to miss something, I know they would make adjustments and take care of it for free. Also, I never get anything I don't need from them. They are straightforward and upfront. I really have nothing but positive things to say about Steve and Continental Imports, nothing but compliments. All I can say is give them a try. Words don't mean anything, but performance does. There's a reason a travel 25 miles from my home to use them. more

Great Shop 8/8/2010

I have been using Continental Imports for both my BMW and Mercedes for many years now. They have always been very professional and up front with me about our cars. There prices are fair and there service is outstanding. I have always been offered rides to work or home or a loaner car when bringing the cars in which makes it easy for my wife and I. I would suggest them to anyone with a european car! more

Rip Off 8/6/2010

My husband took his older Altima here for a diagnostic check. First of all the place had the car 2 days and couldn't figure out the rattling sound. Then decided to replace parts (with out calling or verifying with us). My husband called at the end of the 2nd. day since we had heard nothing, and they said they were charging us for a diagnostic and the part they re-placed. Even if we got the part taken out, they would charge us PLUS they still charged us for the diagnostic!! When you call there all you talk to is the lady at the front desk...never talked to a mechanic or someone who knew what they were talking about. She acted like she was doing us a favor by ""charging less than she should"" This place is a total rip off... NEVER take your car here. Can't believe they have been in business this long. more
