As a landlord and property owner, I am always looking to help out those who are less fortunate and in need across the Treasure Valley. Often, I have looked to Community Connections and their clients. This said, over the last five years, I have rented numerous properties to participants and clients of Community Connections. A majority of those rentals and lease agreements, were ultimately sent to Ada County's Small Claims Court due to the nature in which the property was left. While Community Connections is not directly to blame, I feel that they should be held to to some responsibility since they often act as the "unofficial agent" for their participants--- showing up to help sign leases, distributing rent payments, calling in maintenance issues, etc. Nonetheless, when the time actually comes for the participants to step up to the plate and take responsibility for the damages that they have done to properties, Community Connections is nowhere to be found, leaving their participants high and dry. For any landlords, owners, or property managers looking to rent their properties; I highly suggest you do NOT do business Community Connections. For folks with family members with physical and mental disabilities... GO ELSEWHERE! There are far better organizations and individuals to work with in Boise who most need it. Community Connections is not one of them!
