Visited Commonwealth Honda Service today with my wife's 2010 Honda. No waiting, pleasant service person and a very pleasant experience. The car was serviced with oil change and filter and all fluids and important mechanical points were checked. I was out of the dealership in less than an hour. Highly recommend this dealership. more

I never feel like I am being scammed at commonwealth honda. I get sent coupons periodically that are good for oil changes, tires, rotations, etc. Everything is priced fairly, the service is excellent and fast. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommended! more

I took my Honda Odyssey for service last week and I found that their employees are friendly and prompt. I found the price for express oil change to be lesser when compared the other dealerships in the neighborhood. They have a big customer waiting room with coffee, snacks, movie, tv and wifi to relax and enjoy while waiting. I recommend this dealership. more

We had a pleasant shopping experience for a new vehicle at CommonWealth Honda in Lawrence, MA. We purchased a 2011 Honda Accord V6. They did not have the one on the lot I wanted but they were able to find exactly what I requested. We never felt pressured at all. Andre Willis (Sales Manager) was very polite and professional. I had prices from 4 other dealerships that did not match Commonwealths. I did have one issue that required me to visit the service department. Mark Dunin a service advisor was exceptional in resolving the issue. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience an easy one. He wanted to make sure I was happy and satisfied and answered all my questions. I definitely give Mark Dunin an A+. The attention to customer service is exceptional. We would certainly recommend CommonWealth Honda to anyone. more

In 2009, purchased my first Honda CR-V from Commonwealth and have also returned religiously for all service. Their service department opens early and is also open on Saturdays. Last visit was have the wipers replaced and also to have a strange sound in the passenger side wheel checked out. They did swap out the wipers, checked out the wheel noise - no problem, but also checked and adjusted the tire pressure in all wheels. The advisor indicated that as part of the 30,000 service (which was 7,00 miles away) the wipers are replaced at that time. He advised me to tell them at that time, not to replace them but have them put the inserts in the car and the dealership will replace them when I do need them in the future at no extra charge. Love the service, great people and will continue to go back! more

I purchased a 2010 CR-V after shopping around thru several dealers. Decided to give them a shot due to their advertising: Shop us last, you'll love us. I'm not crazy about dealerships and negotiations. But, they took the bite out of it and made the process a positive one. From the minute a stepped inside to the moment I took possession of the vehicle, the staff at Commonwealth took care of everything. They stood by their pricing and delivered the vehicle in advance of the scheduled time frame. Not one hitch throughout. I just had my 7,500 mile check performed. I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Their service prices beat the surrounding dealers. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgable. No need to shop around anymore. My next Honda purchase will be from Commonwealth. more

I've had my car serviced there may times, and have been impressed with their speed, efficiency and pricing, as well as overall friendliness and knowledge of the service staff. Faced with cancer and a seperation in the same week, the service team referred me to a sales person who was sympathetic towards my situation and worked out an arrangement for me that catered to my situation perfectly. They were willing to work with family members when I was in the hospital, and had my car ready for me, at the price I needed, on the day I needed. Wouldn't drive anything but a Honda, and now wouldn't purchase one anywhere but Commonwealth! more

This is the second vehicle that I have leased with Commonweath Honda. I upgraded from a Civic Coupe to a 2010 Honda CR-V. Price was very resonable. I absolutely love the vehicle and may purchase this one outright early. Honda's offer terrific reliability and durability. My experience again with Commonwealth Honda was easy and efficient. I just got my Honda CR-V serviced at Commonwealth Honda right off 495. I did not have an appointment and was able to use their Express Oil Change!!! I loved it, they were fast and very customer orientated! Charlie was great, would recommend to anyone needing service in the Lawrence area. Every 5,000 miles I will be bringing my car here for service. more

This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Commonwealth and once again we made the right choice. Jeff Donahue has sold us both our vehicles. He makes the process simple and without "what can we do to sell you a car today" speech. As far as price they went the lowest in the shortest amount of time without all the back and forth. They gave me a great price for my trade without seeing it. When I did bring the trade in they honored their initial appraisal (sight unseen) without question. I would go back again. more

We were dreading the prospect of walking into dealerships to purchase a new car so instead we contacted eight dealerships and told them we would like to send over an email with our requirements, CRV-EX-L 4WD with Nav, color etc and asked them to return their absolute best price. Needless to say, Commonwealth came in with the best price. When we went in to sign papers we were greeted by Mike Simon who was very friendly, courteous,and knowledgeable. He took us for a test drive and explained all the features of the car. The purchasing process was quick and easy, a no pressure, no hassel experience. We were very impressed with the entire process from the time we walked through the door until the last of the paperwork was signed (Sean Brown). We will definately return when it is time for another car and will recommend Commonwealth to everyone we know. Also looking forward to taking the car there for regular maintance, we had a tour of the service area and was amazed at how organized and clean the area was. Oh and lastly, a few days after our purchase; a thank you letter came in the mail, Mike called to personally thank us again and to ask if we had any questions and best of all; a box of chocolate chip cookies came in the mail (I personally LOVED this gesture). I have bought two Hondas from the dealership, and do all my car services there. I have never had a bad experience, or uncourteous service staff. The hours are great too, and no appointments needed. Free shuttle rides to and from home when the car is being serviced. Highly recommended if you live in the area. more

My wife and I had decided on purchasing a Honda Civic. We visited a few Honda dealers in the area where we received bottom line quotes from numerous sales representatives. Not happy with what we were hearing, I recalled driving past Commonwealth Honda on my way to and from work and decided that we should give it a try. I completed an online inquiry on the Commonwealth Honda web page and received a call from Craig Clarke within a few hours. He quoted me a price that was significantly better than the other dealers. Upon our arrival at the dealership, we were greeted by Kimberly Daher who introduced us to sales rep Jeff Donahue. Jeff took us out for a test drive and proved to be extremely knowledgeable when it came to the Honda product. We then sat down with Jeff and hammered out a great deal which included receiving top dollar for my 1998 Honda trade-in. My wife rang the bell and we were on our way! Next we met with Robert Florent and Sean Brown who explained our security system, extended warranty, and financial options. This part was always a high-pressure experience with other dealers but I found both gentlemen to be friendly and honest. We were very impressed with the entire process and felt that we made the right choice. When I returned to pick up my new car, Jeff was closing another deal so Robert took time to educate me on my security system. Jeff then took me through a complete review of the interior workings of the vehicle and I drove off knowing, in no uncertain terms, that we had made the right choice. From start to finish, the entire staff made us feel like they cared about us and our new purchase. It was easily the best car buying experience that we ever had. In the days to come, we received numerous e-mails from Commonwealth Honda employees congratulating us on our new vehicle and offering their future services. A Thank You letter arrived from President Charlie Daher and Jeff personally called to follow up on our purchase. Finally, a box of gourmet chocolate chip cookies was delivered to our home in appreciation of our business! While we usually dread the process of buying a new car, Commonwealth Honda and their A+ service made the experience downright enjoyable! We’re looking forward to bringing our car in for regular maintenance as I’ve already spoken to other customers who have nothing but great things to say about the service department. I had been looking for a new car. I visited a number of dealers; I called each dealer beforehand. Most would not discuss what sort of deal they could be willing to make up front. I called up Commonwealth Motors and talked to a gentleman named Craig ( or is it Greg) Clarke, who told me the absolute lowest price they would be willing to offer me. I was surprised to find that the cost was less than the at cost price you see at most online research websites for the trim of the vehicle I purchased ( Honda Civic 4 dr Sedan, auto, VP). To my surprise I did not complete the deal with Clarke, but with a salesperson, Luis Cruz. Luis was probably not to happy that I had gotten a quote for that specific trim from Clarke, but I think it's the separation of the Salesperson that allowed me to negotiate a deal that I was happy with in the end. Luis helped with the sale of course, taking me for a test drive and answering my questions regarding maintenance. Hopefully I will not have to purchase another car soon, but the next time I do so I will give commonwealth motors serious consideration, if they remain upfront about how much they'll charge for a vehicle. I've had my car for just over a month, and I'm completely satisfied! Pros: No Games, Good Price, Excellent Service Cons: none yet. more
