I have never had such a poor experience as it relates to an eye exam and errors regarding the actual prescription, in addition to the proprietor being unbelievably pushy and unreasonable. They initially gave the wrong prescription and I had to go back multiple times to get it right - and it still isn't right. Ultimately, they recommended a pair which made me dizzy (due to the size of the frames), and although they fixed the prescription in the end (to the one that still isn't right but is better), there was a difference of a nominal amount of money for the new frames which were less than the original frames. They refused to refund the nominal amount, although there is nothing I can purchase at the location for the amount. They claim there are no refunds, only store credit, but the sign is up near the ceiling where it would be impossible to see without someone telling you it's there and/or if you were 7' tall. From a customer service perspective, if I were the proprietor I would have refunded the nominal amount, and now I will tell everyone to avoid this particular location. They are franchised, so this review in no way should be a reflection on other Cohen's Fashion Optical stores.
