This place is dangerous. They have more Physician Assistants than Doctors and PAs are what you will probably see if you need to see someone right away. A PA saw me recently and told me she was going to refer me to a pulmonary Dr. who would take payments because I didn't have insurance. I waited 2 weeks and didn't hear from anyone, so I called Cleco and asked them about it. The PA had not referred me to anyone so I complained about it and was told that they didn't believe the PA had said that because the PA would not refer anyone who doesn't have insurance. So, in essence, they were calling me a liar. That's when I let the girl have it! I still will go there because I do not have insurance, but beware. more

Ann Brock non- caring. Judgemental. No thorough examination for chronic mixed connective tissue disease. She insulted me and my intelligence ( having 4 certifications in the medical field). She also insulted the city of Shelby in which she ""practices"". more

AVOID AT ALL COST, LITERALLY IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH. 5/10/2012

This place should seriously be shut down! Been treated by every doctor there and all are incompetent. One particular Dr, Ann Brock, cut off my antiseizure medicine for no reason, and changed me to neurotin, saying it would work. After explaining that this is the only medicine that ever worked and even pharmacist told me you had to be weaned. She didnt care .Followed her instructions with neurotin, and had 3 grand mal seizues from withdrawl. Ended up in emergency room twice. Doctor there put me on origional medicine that worked. After prescription ran out, went back and tried different doctor, same results. Additionally twice while I was at clinic, called in wrong blood pressure medicine for me.The staff is rude and incompetent. Because of no insurance is how I ended up there. I have lived all over the country and been to at least 50 different doctors and this place is by far the worst Ive ever dealt with. Have filed malpractice suit and have appointment with Shelby Star for and interview. Please for your health literary avoid this place, and save the suffering and near death experience, because of the quacks that pose as doctors. Didnt even want to give place one star! more

horrible right off the bat changing back to old dr 2/15/2011

On my initial visit to this office I was seen for my heart condition, back problems, and severe depression. My first impression of the Dr was good. She did an ekg and ordered meds. She said she would get referrals to get me back into my cardiologist and to the back specialist and counselor. She also ordered some x rays for my back. I missed my monthly so I went back the next day for a pregnancy test. I heard the Dr say something rude about it right before she came into the room. I tried to overlook that. I tried my best to get her to order a blood pregnancy test so I could be sure. She said she never heard of those. What? A dr not knowing about blood pregnancy tests? C'mon! The dr did a stick test and said it was negative. She even wrote not pregnant on the x ray order form. So I waited a couple more days and did a home pregnancy test. Sooo glad I waited on the x rays because I am 5 weeks pregnant! Here is the problem I am having with this office. # 1 it has been nearly 3 weeks and they more

I was very grateful to find a clinic in town that would accept my daughter as a patient who has no insurance and no income, so we did not have to pay the $82 fee up front. However, I am VERY upset at the fact that Dr. Jubane wrote her a prescription for $129 drops for swimmers ear that was not available in generic. I called the office as soon as we left the pharmacy asking for a less expensive treatment only to be told to leave a voice mail & never to have my call returned. If Cleco is supposed to be for people with no insurance & low income, less expensive treatment options should have automatically been discussed or at least a phone call returned. more

Great clinic/Dr.s office 11/12/2008

I have been going here for a while now, and everytime they have been professional, caring, informative and friendly. They are a county run clinic for walk-ins and also a primary care for no-insurance, medicare patients/clients. Are great when you need referred to another Dr., and check up on you (when they have time) to see how you are doing. Office visit fees are based on your ability to pay/or your coinsurance fee only. They are very willing to work with you when you are broke and don't have the money for their fee. Super people.... Would and do recommend them to others. They have moved their office to just down the road on Laffeate (sp) St. behind the CVS store. more

I would highly discourage anyone from going to cleco in shelby. I have been lied to for three weeks and that is only when I can get a call back. I left 2 messages a day for two weeks and no one bothered to call back. They had the results of my xray for a month and no one would call or write and give me the results. They sent me for an mri and the machine dislocated my knee. A doctor for the hosp had to put my knee back in socket to get me out of the machine. I went to cleco from the hospital and explained what had happened. I was told at cleco that they would call in pain medications. I got to the store to pick up my medication and there was no prescription. I called cleco and they told me they decided not to call the medication in ( but they were to lazy to call and inform me of this so I could go elsewhere for help ). After 4 more phone calls Ms. Wendy Gunter told me that Paul Claroni, PA would call me back Friday after lunch. When Claroni called back, at 2:20pm on Friday, he gave me more

Cleco Primary Care Network 2/7/2006

Cleco Primary Care Network is a great "doctor." They have several doctors and are operated by the county, I think. They are located just down from Cleveland County Memorial Regional Hospital on Grover Street. I like going there when I wake up and am sick and can't get in to see my own physician (which is rare), or have an ailment I don't want to go to my own primary care physician LOL. They operate on a sliding pay scale, no money, you pay very little, etc. They have no problem referring you to specialists if need be. Therefore, I recommend Cleco Primary Care Network on Grover Street at three stars. more

Cleco 2/4/2006

Cleco Primary Care Network is a nice place to go if you need an appointment the same day. It beats all the other competitors in this area. They operate on a sliding scale, and I like the way they make me feel as a patient. Even though they seem rushed, I feel they are there when I need them, and then some. They are nice and knowledgeable, and my last visit confirmed that. I have been going to them for a long time, and I recommend them. Cleco Primary Care Network is located on Grover Street, just right down from the hospital. It's easy to find. more

I go to this primary care facility when I wake up and I find I'm ill and need an appointment that same day. Besides being closeby, readily available for my needs, they offer good care. I have made them my family physicians. more
