Clearview has bent over backwards to take great care of my husband and I! We've been back multiple times just to get the 'right shot' and werent charged an arm and a leg. They really are accomodating and a great place to go for your gender ultrasound. more

Great Experience 1/15/2012

We went to Clearview Ultrasound yesterday and had a great experience! We chose the Platinum Plus Package. We went yesterday at 15 weeks and 6 days basically just to find out the gender. They were running 10 mins behind schedule and they apologized several times for the wait. The sono tech was very friendly and professional. She did push on my belly to get the baby to move but it was very gentle and I didn't mind at all. (Later we saw that me laughing moved the baby more than her hands did.) Baby flipped right over and showed us he was a BOY! Then we went into the 3d/4d part of the sono and he just moved all around in there. The sono tech kept commenting on what he was doing and how he was moving. She said she had been doing this for years but she seemed just as excited about seeing him as we were. Our families from out of town were able to see the sono live from their computers which, to me, is invaluable! Several prints along with a cd of pictures and the video of the session was available immediately we were done. We can't wait for our 28-32 week session. more

Worth every penny! 6/24/2011

I know other people may have had a bad experience, but I've been here three times now and each time it was great! The woman that did our scan was so sweet and seems to be very knowledgeable, which was nice as we're doing this for the first time. She pointed out his heart beat and let us see it up close. She DID jiggle my belly, but I personally didn't have a problem with this. He rolled right over and showed us his face for the first time! My doctor has done this during a medical ultrasound to get him to move, so I wasn't at all worried about bothering the baby. I'm sure she wouldn't have done that if it was at all unsafe. I'm sure I jiggle him just as much once in a while. Our baby was very shy and she tried a few tricks to get him to show his face. She worked until she got the pictures and I was happy that she spent so much time and made such an effort to make us happy. Never did she make us feel like she was rushed or hurried to get to the next family. When we were ready to know gender, we invited our whole family to go with us. I think we crammed 20 people into that scan room. Everyone was so excited to find out with us and it was very special for my husband and I to share that with the people we love the most. When we scheduled our appointment, Clearview gave me a form for my doctor to sign. It literally was three lines of info for me to fill out and ONE line for him to sign his name on. He signed it willingly, so there was no problem. We personally didn't have a problem with pricing or scheduling either. Also, I love that the office doesn't feel at all like a doctor's office. It's very relaxing and comfortable. I felt like it was worth every penny and I would really recommend it to anyone. more

Mortifying Experience- Shocking! 1/22/2011

Is it possible to give ZERO Stars? Ok so here is my story. We went there once - the quality was meh, the service was meh. But we got to see our baby so we were happy. I DID NOT like how the technician JIGGLED my belly to get the baby to move. I felt like it was very unprofessional and as a first time mom it was worrisome to have her agitate my baby. Fast forward a few weeks. We got a call they were doing free sessions with some techs in training and were told a current tech would be present and were asked if we could come in to be a dummy. Sure, we thought. We can see our baby again! Upon getting there one of the ""students"" who was there was asked to confirm the baby was a girl. She said (and I am not kidding) ""OK let's check and see if we can see that s**tch!!!!"" OMG, my husband and I were so appalled. Neither of us could react, though now I can tell you a number of good comebacks. I would love to report this company to the BBB or take further action though I am not sure what to do. Just don't go here. They do NOT deserve your business and their quality is terrible. STAY AWAY! more

Horrible Experience with the staff of clearview 1/12/2011

I made an appointment over 4 weeks ago to get a gender scan of my little one. We planned on driving to Austin (3 hours away) so my sister, her partner, my parents, and my bff could join us. more

Terrible Service 6/25/2010

I initially called a month before my needed appointment. I got scheduled in, but the lady on the phone wasn't quite sure what week of pregnancy was appropriate for a gender scan. She chose 16 weeks. I called again a few weeks later to confirm and double check that 16 weeks was OK, and it was another women. This one had no idea when I should come in. She said she had to ask someone else and she would call me back. Fast forward to the week of my appointment. I got my doctor to send a note saying I'm getting prenatal care, but a man at the office said this wasn't good enough. They needed specific authorization from my doctor saying it was OK for me to get an US from them. He even talked directly to my nurse. No bueno. He canceled my appointment. He said they always have a problem getting good enough authorizations from my doctor's office. I told him I would appreciate having been told this a month out, and not the day before my appointment. He said he would have told me, but the other ""girls"" in the office didn't know this. The lack of knowledge, communication, and helpfulness was confusing and frustrating. I hate having been made to wait a month for a much-anticipated appointment only to be told it was canceled due to nitpicky paperwork stuff that I could have been told about long before. Pros: can't think of any Cons: they do not have their stuff together more

Absolutely Unprofessional and Rude 9/5/2009

Unfortunately, this place is a complete rip off. I went in for my first ultrasound after scheduling on the phone with a gentleman. He quoted me a price. but when I showed up for my appointment, the lady working there told me that it would be $50 more. She argued with me until I finally agreed to pay the increased fee as I was already there and anxious to find out the gender of my baby. I was told that with the package I received, I could come back a second time for a $25 discount during the same pregnancy. This is also advertised on their website. When I called back several weeks later, they would not honor. I was placed on hold several times for 10 minutes or more and a very unprofessional receptionist came back and said they wouldn't honor. I even asked her to get on the website and see the advertisement. She apologized, but said her boss wouldn't let her honor it. I followed up with an email expressing my disappointment, but never received a response. I would recommend to anyone considering getting an ultrasound here that you reconsider. Very disappointing experience. I wish I would have listened to the warning I received about this place. Pros: Good technology Cons: Rude and dishonest staff, Unprofessional, Unorganized more

I loved my ultrasound! 2/16/2006

OH MY GOSH! This was the coolest thing ever. We got to see our baby and she was so adorable. The people at Clearview were great. I would reccomend this to anyone! more
