I have two children who have both received treatment from Cassinelli and Shanker. Everyone on staff is professional and friendly. The staff is able to put my children at ease, and always explain the procedures and the expected outcome. They give feedback to the children in a way to motivate them to achieve the goals set for them. Both Drs. Cassinelli and Shanker work well with the each other, and everyone on the staff is aware of the treatment plan, so I feel that every visit is achieving progress towards our goals : my goal of having a beautiful smile for my children, and their goal of getting their braces off as soon as possible! more

I haven't seen the results of my son's braces yet. They are due to come off soon. In the meantime, I wanted to mention that it's kind of different and refreshing to enjoy going to a Doctor's office. I'm just the Mom, not the one in braces, but my kids enjoy it there too. Not because it's fun, exactly. They have just never had fear, complaint or discomfort about going here. We get a warm, friendly, welcoming feeling which begins with Cheryl's smile and interest in our family. This feeling continues throughout the exam as Dr. Cassinelli stops what he's doing to chat with parents without ever acting like he's too busy or overbooked to do that. Same thing with Dr. Shanker, who called my husband to explain things personally to him because my husband couldn't come into the office for some reason. I don't know the names of all the technicians, but all are equally friendly and nice to my kids. Professional too, the way they all dress the same, and always doing something, never standing around wasting time. Anyway, I'm sure the treatment is excellent, though I haven't had the chance to see the actual results yet. But obviously, I'm very happy with the entire process along the way....... more

From the very first call to book a consult, to setting a plan for our twins to get braces....this experience so far is up and above what I expected. It is so nice to not feel like a number or dollar sign. This office has been up and above with welcoming, working out financial plans, dealing with insurance, customer service with the kids...etc. Other offices should use this office as an example of how a business should be ran. more

The telephone was answered promptly after the seemingly ever present prompts that everyone has these days. The person answering the telephone was effecient, personalbe and thorough. more

If one has additional questions following a consultation, those will be answered immediately. I called and explained that my husband hadn't gone with me to my younger child's consultation (my older child that is already a patient here) but that my husband had questions I couldn't answer. Dr. Shanker personally called himself, within an hour, and answered my husband's questions in a very pleasant manner. He made my husband feel that his questions were intelligent, and even on such short notice, he acted like he wasn't at all too busy for us. We actually ended the call. Dr. Shanker sounded like he had all the time in the world for us, and I am confident that Dr. Cassinelli would as well. The entire staff is extremely customer service oriented and friendly at all times. They explain to your child in braces how important it is that he or she do do their part, but they never make your kid hate going there. I highly recommend this practice, especially for kids who are afraid of treatment, or for those parents who have a lot of questions. Thanks to all. more
