Best deal for an apartment 6/3/2009

My friends recommended Chelsmore to me when I came to NYC to work on my PHD. I got a beautiful apartment facing the rear of the building which was quiet and cozy. It came with everything needed to make you comfortable - the furniture was decent, the TV and cables and internet was working well. Full kitchen, oven, microwave, and good hot water in the shower. Great place to stay for business! 3/16/2009

Came here for a month on business, had no place to stay. Saw these guys online so I called. Do the math, 30 nights in a hotel or 30 nights in a furnished apartment with your own amenities. Not only will your expense report be happy, but so will your boss when you show them a bill for a monthly rent and not $300 a night for 30 nights. Chelsmore is the place to be. I love the place 11/20/2008

I have stayed multiple times at Chelsmore Apartments, and have had wonderful experiences. The staff is warm and accommodating. The apartments are HUGE, quiet, charming, and give you everything you need to start living and enjoying NYC. I am a businessman and I often need to stay in NYC for 2 months at a time, and this is a perfect option for me as it is much cheaper than a hotel and also much cheaper than any of the other furnished apartment options in New York. Especially considering the location (close to everything) and the price, you cant get any better! more

Chelsmore Appartments - DON'T STAY THERE 5/30/2008

Big warning to every one who is considering to stay here!\r \r I have to say that paying more then 2500 USD per month for such a place is a complete disgrace! I had received an apartment which wasn't even clean when I checked in, most of the appliances didn't work and were covered with dust and basically the owner and staff couldn't care less about their guests. I have seriously never ever been treated this way?they give you the feeling that they are actually doing you a favor for staying with them?To make this stay some how decent I ended up spending so much extra money on new appliances and house utilities that it seemed ridiculous that I was actually paying for a 'furnished' apartment. The furniture is so old and broken that I can not believe that some one would even have this available for guests who are paying good money in return.\r \r So please remember that you have been warned not to spend your money here?I would even recommend spending a bit more to avoid wasting your time more
