Ever had soup dumplings? Yeah, us either. But after reading about these bad boys in the loafing, we had to scope them for ourselves. Now honestly, they're kind of a weird thing to understand at first. They're steamed dumplings... with what? Soup inside them? How the hell is that even possible?
Well it is, and they are delicious. The dumplings are small enough to barely fit in your mouth with one bite, but we suggest taking a smaller nibble at first, then ""slurping"" the soup from inside the dumpling, savoring it... then chowing on the rest. Think of it this way, it's a like a smaller, steamed potsticker thats just super-juicy.
As for the rest of the menu, cold noodles are slightly tangy and slightly spicy, and the pan fried dumplings were the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, chewy and doughy on the top. I could have eaten an entire plate of them.
Service was kind, they took credit cards, and the interior was clean and welcoming. A keeper on all accounts.
Pros: off the charts dumplings
Cons: it's not closer to town
