STAY AWAY! Poor service, poor knowledge, and no integrity at all. My dishwasher broke down and I set up a service appointment through the dishwasher manufacturer's website. No one showed up on the service date and when I called up, I was told that I would need to directly call them to set up the appointment. The technician that finally showed up a week later seemed to have no clue what was wrong with the dishwasher and said that he wasn't familiar with the type of dishwasher that we had. He then called up his tech support and came up with the conclusion that the motor was broken (really?!!!), but that the company's computer was down to order the parts. He promised that someone would call me the next day to give me an estimate of the repair cost. Of course, no one called and after a couple of agitated calls, I was told that the technician quit on the company and that they did not have his notes to fulfill my estimate. The woman who spoke did not even seem apologetic and cut me off quite abruptly. Way to make a customer happy. I will never, ever call this company again. more

My dishwasher was still under warranty. It would cycle fine but then fill with water again and leak. I showed the repairman that it would still pump the water out. He asked me to trip the breaker so her could work on it. He informed me that it was a leaking and they would have to order one. He said I could still use the washer until the valve arrived. He left and I loaded the washer. I turned the power on and NOTHING. I would not even come on. I called them and they sent him back. He asked if I had the right breaker on. Then said there was no power to the unit and what he did to it had no effect on that. He looked at again then said they would call when the valve came in then he left. Talked to someone back in the office and they said the earliest they could send another tech out was in TWO days. NEVER AGAIN. more

I was having multiple problems my refrigerator, and when I called Chambers the office was able to schedule me for the next day. The technician they sent was very courteous, and managed to fix it in just one visit! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing repairs. more

The technician came out and thought he fixed my washer machine. He said it was fixed. He left and I tried to run a load through and the same problem happened again. I called the company and told them they didn't fix it. Chambers said they'd send out a technician again the next day. I got under the washing machine and figured out the problem my self. I called Chambers to order the replacement part myself and requested a refund of the $97 they charged me in labor to NOT FIX MY WASHER. Company owner said that they ""stand by their work"" and would not refund the labor charge. Standing by your work means that you stand by your work and don't charge a customer when you don't fix something. \r Do not do business with this company, they don't stand behind their work. more

Chambers did some recent repair work on our compactor. Although they are based in Bloomington, they have a repairman in the Peoria area all the time. Their prices beat the others. The service was excellent and the repairman very personable. They also came recommended by the store where we purchased our appliances. more
