Wonderful 5/21/2006

Nothing but great things to say. The food, design and service was beyond my expectations. Can't wait for my next visit. Pros: Food, Design, Service more

Where was the service? 5/12/2006

I saw 9.8 rating and was expecting a lot. What I got a a good beer list and a good selection of Thai food ruined by poor service. I was the only table outside on a Friday early evening and was pretty much forgotten. I had 2 wait staff, but it took 15 mins to get service, but only after I got up and went inside to drag someone to our table. It might be to do with the staff being young and unprof, or may be it was due to the male waiter being more concerned with his makeup instead of waiting duties?! In England we're not shy of not tipping if the experience was crap. In the US customers are worried about offending people with such actions. Don't pay for crap service! But pay for the food...it's not bad, but def not 9.8. May be 7.8. Pros: Food, Beer list Cons: Service, Service, Where's the service? more

Beautiful Staff, wonderful food. 5/10/2006

A long time resident of Burbank, and now a devoted fan of Chadaka Thai at 310 N. San Fernando Blvd in The Media Center. The food is always top notch, and the service is outstanding. The staff is warm and easy on the eyes. I'll be back, a lot! Try the curry, it's perfection on a plate. Pros: Curry, Staff, Location more

...wow. 4/12/2006

I just got back from lunch and I have to say, I had the best Chicken Panang I've ever had in my life. The soup and salad were great, and the Steamed Wonton Bundles were terrific, but the Panang was simply out of this world! The prices are very reasonable. I've been to Tuk Tuk and I actually find Chadaka better. The food was brought out at just the right times. I can't wait to try dinner there! We parked in the large parking stucture across the street so parking was a snap. I will definitely return! Pros: fast service, amazing food more

Consistently good 4/7/2006

As a Burbank resident for 23 years, I was really excited when this place opened. Finally some good Thai food in a cool, hip atmosphere! The martini list is awesome, the food is consistently good, and the service is good. If you're vegetarian, you're in luck. They will make any dish vegetarian style, including soups in which they will use vegetable stock in instead of chicken/beef stock. If you don't eat fish, they will skip oyster sauce in their pad thai if you ask them to. Another great factor: there is a large parking structure with free parking right around the corner. Afterwards you can walk to the local bar & grill and dance to a live band that plays 70's & 80's music. Chadaka Thai is a great place for a romantic dinner, dinner with friends, or a birthday party. I highly recommend it! Pros: Food, Drinks, Parking more

There's no judgement here. 4/5/2006

Shining down from a crystal Buddha that sits above the bar at Chadaka Thai. I'm emmersed in my ritual of glutony and self exploration. With every blissful bite I'm judged, do I deserve such a wonderful meal? Is five beers too many? Buddha looks down reasuring me...there is no judgement here. Hot Damn. Rub my belly, that's a good start n self exploration. After I finish my fifth beer, I give my respects to ""The Big Guy"" and stumble home, ready for my next step towards self exploration. Don't judge me. Pros: Great Food, Beer Selection, Friendly Staff more

Great place 3/18/2006

Terrific Thai cuisine, served up by a ready to please staff in an elegant but not too over the top environment. Well worth the trip from Pasadena. more

ambience good, food ehh ok, service yuck! 2/20/2006

food is just okay. they have very nice decor. very trendy. the service is horrible. i lifted up my fork and the waiter took my plate! the plates and silverware are dirty. they also gave us chipped plates. more

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. 2/20/2006

Crying Tiger Beef. Pear Salad, Curry Dumplings & a Mango Mojito. I could have the meal everyday for the rest of my life. Pros: Crying Tiger Beef, Pear Salad, Mango Mojito more

Velentine's Day 2/18/2006

Had a great time. The Seabass entree was outstanding. The staff was terrific. Everything made for a memorable evening. Thansks. Pros: Food, Quality, Decor more

service is not too good 2/14/2006

We ordered a glass of wine, and the glass was so dirty. Food was pretty good. Service was not very good. Overall, this place is way too expensive for this service and food. There are better and cheaper Thai restaurants everywhere. Pros: ambience Cons: service, too expensive more

SUprise! 2/1/2006

I've been going to Starbucks for years. The line was long so I walked down to Coffee Bean. A simple chage in my everyday pattern has led me to my favriot restaurant in the city, Chadaka Thai. Change your routine and give it a try, you'll be pleasantly suprised. Pros: Location, Panang Curry, Service more

Great addition to Burbank! 1/31/2006

Love this place! Finally found a great non-chain restaurant in Burbank. I've tried the fried calamari, scallops, pad-see-ewe and mango mojito. All are great choices. Pros: Ambience, Waiting area more

Great find 12/8/2005

Fantastic food and a great value. I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food, and the service was fast (almost too fast)... Highly recommended and I will definately go back again soon! more

Excellent food and service! 11/30/2005

The food here is fantastic as well as the service. Beautiful people watching as well. Great for a date or large group, very trendy as well as sexy for a date. Pros: Great food more

Glowing reviews. Well deserved. 11/9/2005

I'm happy to say that my experience is similar to the many reviews here @ Citysearch.com. The restaurant is romantic and wonderful. I especially enjoyed the ambiance. Great music blends with amazing flavors and a wide variety of scrumptious things to look at. more

A diamond in the rough. 10/30/2005

The Burbank Media Center is filled with corporate restaurants such (PF Changs, Market City Cafe, Pomodoro, Romeros Macaroni Grill). Chadaka Thai offers style, great food, terrific service...and it's family owned. Let's support small business before everything turns to Walmart. Also check out Active Ride next door. It's family owned also. Pros: Food, Service, Decor more

Westways Magazine 10/27/2005

Great reveiw in Westways (AAA) magazine. They recomended the Green Pear Salad & Crying Tiger Beef. Both dishes we're prepared perfectly and presented very well. The restaurant is very nice. Parking can be difficult, but ther's ample free structure parking around the media center. Don't cruise San Fernando for the perfect spot, gas is expensive. more

Nice place 10/21/2005

Coworkers and I had a nice lunch here on Tuesday. Great service in a nice environment. Will make this a regular destination. Pros: Food, Service, Decor more

Best restaurant in Burbank. 10/21/2005

Went last night because of all the great reviews here at Citysearch. Started with the calamari (delicious) - The Larb followed and we finished with the crying tiger beef. The food was high quality and worth the extra price. If you're comparing this restaurant to Thai food at Exotic Thai or others. It's like comparing Burger King to Ruth Chris. Better quality food, paired with excellent service in a room that's the best in Burbank. Pay a little more and enjoy. Pros: Quality Ingredients, High end service, Beautiful decor more
