I had a great experience at Dr. Carstensen's office. I was looking for a sleep apnea specialist as well as a dentist and I am very fortunate to have found Dr. Carstensen and his team. They are very friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Carstensen takes the time to explain what is going on and is very accessible. Rebecca took the most efficient, comfortable dental impressions I've ever experienced. Lilia did a wonderful job on my cleaning. Marlene at the front is a very warm and caring person who knows exactly what is going on and what you need. Overall, a very professional and fun place to visit. more

I was diagnosed with a sleep disorder and referred to Doctor Carstensen's office for an oral appliance to improve my sleep. Doctor Carstensen and his staff have been absolutely wonderful! I would highly recommend his practice to anyone who is seeking general dental care or needs an oral appliance for sleep. Dr. Carstensen and his staff are awesome! They think of everything, from lip balm for your lips, to whether or not your comfortable lying all the way back, to numbing your gums for a cleaning. Their Bellevue office is clean, bright and the front desk personnel are friendly and professional. I also love the fact that I never have to wait for more than 2 minutes. I actually enjoy my dental visits with Dr. Carstensen, which is extremely unusual for me. more

I went to Dr. Carstensen for an oral sleep apnea appliance and was delighted by the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism of the attention I received. They inspire great confidence. In addition, they have a web site for dealing with appointments, payments, etc. You can add your upcoming visits To Outlook directly from the site. This is the first time I've seen this at a medical office and I LOVE it! more

I have been going to Dr. Carstensen for about four years. As we near 60, some of our early dental work deteriorates whether its fillings or crowns. Many of us have those gold crowns and I wanted a more natural look so we included that with replacing fillings. I have been so pleased with his work and the support staff. Scheduling work was not an issue though I wanted it over a two year period, which they were open to. I think I have the best dentist and company! more

Dr. Carstensen inherited me from Dr. Carlson, the previous practice owner, which means I've been a patient of his for a long time and I have him well-trained! I have referred several patients to him. He even helped out some employee's I referred who had limited finances...he still helped them out! Steve stays on the cutting edge of his field and is concerned for your overall health, not just your teeth. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Carstensen and his team. While many don't like going to the dentist, I like going to see these people I trust. more

I've been using the TAP3 night guard for my sleep apnea for a year now, and I couldn't be happier! I used a CPap machine for several years and never really liked it, so when I heard about the night guard from my dentist I was delighted! It's been so much more convenient, more comfortable and easy to take traveling with me for my job! And the best thing of all - it works!! :-) more

My family and I have been patients of Dr Steve Carstensen's for twenty years or so. I have always felt that he and all the staff sincerely care about me and my family and takes a personal interest in our lives and our well being. Steve and the hygienists make every effort to provide for a comfortable and stress free experience. I remember my daughter, when in elementary school, would fall asleep while getting her cavities filled! Steve is a superb dentist and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone. more

Expectations in cost, treatment, and timing are always set up front and always met or exceeded. I have feared dental visits since having bad experiences as a child. Dr. Carstensen and his staff have shown me that there is nothing to fear. I'm absolutely astonished at their abilities. They were not only able to put me at ease before a major a dental visit, but the procedure went flawlessly. At mid-life, the impact of childhood dental trauma was in need of an advanced solution. While I didn't know what the appropriate dental tratment was, by this stage of my dental progression, I really did know dentists and had extreme sensitivity not only in my mouth but in my head as to how I was treated. Dr. Carstensen and his extended team of dental professionals counseled with me and together we determined the most appropriate treatment. No surprises. Just effective treatment professionally performed and monitored extensively for several years (at no additional cost!). The sensitivity of the entire team to the patient's comfort - physical, emotional, and financial - is exhibited in all that they do. more
