I always hear friends of mine talk about how they run into problems when remodeling their homes so I was a little scared to do mine. One of them actually raved about Cardinal so I went with it. Let me start off by saying that its always been a vision of mine to remodel my home. I was figuring budgets and figuring the time frame, but I was discouraged because of all the minor details that come up when you plan a huge project like a remodel. I finally decided that now was the time, but I needed help. I wanted to start with the kitchen first, because that is the center of our home. We entertain a lot and I wanted to have a big enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves. I called Cardinal Kitchens to help me with this overwhelming task. I have had two kitchens done by Cardinal, My mother also had her kitchen done after seeing the job that was done on my first kitchen. We were very pleased at the outcome of the job. After shopping around quite a bit, I am very sure I made the right choice, which was the reason we chose them again for our second kitchen. The kitchen design staff did a great job at utilizing our existing space to its full capacity. The workers and job managers were easy to get along with and very respectable. As with all construction jobs, there are always some unexpected challenges that come up, but they were handled quickly and creatively. I love my kitchen and would recommend them highly. more

If I could give zero stars I would. These people were rude, lazy and they did a horrible job. They ordered the wrong cabinets and tried telling us they were the cabinets we ordered. Only after showing them the sample of the cabinets we wanted did they admit they were the wrong ones. Then they blamed the people who cut the cabinets for making the wrong ones. It took a month for them to properly install the cabinets. They were late showing up, there were days they didn't show up, the cuts for the cabinets were wrong. One employee cut the back of the cabinet too big for the electrical box behind it and tried to deny he did it when confronted. It took them 6 weeks to fix it. The electrician they used does only half jobs when he shows up. Our under cabinet lighting wasn't complete when he left, and the cases didn't match. It has been 4 months and they still aren't done. Our kitchen is NOT that big so it should not have taken this long to get it completed! They only good thing about this company is the man they use for granite measurement and installation. If you decide to go with this company make sure you get Billy to install your granite more

Over budget, and past deadline when remodeling our bathroom. The reasons for both were avoidable. The sales team made mistakes in ordering supplies. The work team wasted time throughout the process (three hour work days, no show days, etc.). One year later, the grout is cracked and the floor is coming up. Just a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience. I would NEVER recommend Cardinal to anyone!!! more
