\r When our baby boy was born we expected to have our lives change forever, but never expected how hard it was really going to be to raise a baby who seemed to be uncomfortable all the time. We had a very long and difficult labor and ended up needing a vacuum assisted delivery. Our baby was very fussy and irritable starting at just a few weeks old. He didn’t sleep well and he spit up excessive quantities. His pediatrician gave us the broad diagnosis of “colic” with the reassurance that it was very common and should get better with time (typically 3 months). After 4 months passed, we turned to the doctor for advice and ended up putting the baby on acid reflux medications. We noticed almost no improvement and his discomfort didn’t really seem to change. When we consulted with a pediatric G.I. specialist and followed his recommendations and still did not see any relief, we decided to seek alternate treatment.\r After reading up on numerous success stories of chiropractic care on babies to treat colic and acid reflux, we decided it was worth a shot. We found Dr. Dees through a friend of a friend. We stopped the medications and set up our first appointment. We were very skeptical but found Dr. Dees to be very informative and he was great with the baby. The night after the first adjustment the baby sat up for the first time by himself. We didn’t see much of a change except a small improve in his overall happiness/demeanor for the first few treatments. It wasn’t until after the 4th adjustment that we saw a decrease in his acid reflux symptoms of excess spitting up and gassiness which are now within what we would consider normal levels and his physical abilities have increased exponentially. There is no denying the impact that the chiropractic care had on our baby making him a healthier, happier baby. \r more

My neck and back were in severe pain. After a trip to the emergency room, I found out that I was not having a stroke or heart attack and I was given more pain pills and sent home. I did not know what to do. A friend recommended that I call Dr. Dees, a chiropractor. I made that call the next day which turned out to be one of the most important calls that I have made in my life.\r The results were a wake-up call for me. After a few adjustments I was feeling much better. I was on my way to no more pills. I was educated on subluxation and what effect the nerves had on ones well-being and learned I could feel better without surgery. The numbness in my neck and arm was gone and I was back to my daily routine of walking 3-5 days a week.\r more

\r I am providing this review to let others know that “Chiropractic Treatment” may sometimes not be a quick fix most people want, but with a positive attitude, the willingness to do all the requested stretching, follow-up treatments, and have a GREAT doctor like Dr. Dees, there is no reason anyone has to suffer for a lifetime. I believe that because of Dr. Dees, I am today free of pain, able to walk and have a great future to look forward to. I owe my new life to Dr. Dees and his staff for the weekly encouragement they provided me while treating me. \r more

\r Boy do I remember back to the first time I came through the door at Canyon Chiropractic. I could barely walk. I had to use a cane. My body ached so much I was in tears most of the time. I had seen all the medical doctors and they said they could not help any more.\r Dr. Dees explained how the adjustments would help the body heal itself. He mentioned that it would take some time. \r Waking up in the morning with only one side of my face functioning normally was one of the scariest moments in my life. What was equally scary to me was the fact that there was no explanation as to why this was happening or how to fix it. I went to the emergency room and was told I had Bells Palsy.I was prescribed steroids and antiviral medicine.I was told the symptoms could last anywhere from 3 months to a year and in severe cases could even be permanent.My aunt suggested that chiropractic care would help to relieve my Bells Palsy. Dr. Dees office immediately made room for me to come in. I was given my first adjustment 24 hours after the onset of my symptoms. My face felt tingly and my eye closed a little more following my first adjustment. I also began acupuncture treatment. I think that getting both of these treatments quickly and simultaneously after the onset of my symptoms made it possible for the positive results I have received. I had full function of my face in about 5 weeks.In this stressful time, Dr. Dees did everything they could to help me through this time in my life. \r As you have probably heard me say several times, your operation is by far the most professional, thorough and results oriented Chiropractic office I have ever experienced. I knew that Chiropractic care was important to one’s overall health, but I did not know that Chiropractors could be so different in their approach. Beginning with a spinal exam that includes X-rays, to the continuing education and follow up exams, the three other Chiropractors I had seen over the past twenty years are not even in your league. I continue to be impressed with more than I expected after signing up for a year of service. Just today, I got a call from a friend that I referred to you, saying how impressed he was with you and the way you did his adjustments. \r I have had neck and back issues and pain for many years. I have had physical therapy, Acupuncture and chiropractic care on and off for years. The relief from any of these types of treatments has been limited and short lived – mostly due to not sticking with the treatments in a “wellness” mindset. Instead of staying healthy and maintaining good health I have been, like many others, a visitor when things were really bad. Once the symptoms were better, I would stop.\r Dr. Dees and his great staff spent considerable time on the front end explaining with the X-rays and tests showed and what we expected the results to be over a scheduled time frame with specific treatments. I agreed to make the commitment and made all of my appointments. Another set of X-rays were taken and tests done to compare to the starting reports. The results were better than expected.\r Dr. Dees’ methodology is straightforward and works if you follow the plan. I have recommended Dr. Dees too many friends and colleagues and will continue to do so. I now know many people that are in his care. more

I?ve been in the insurance industry for the last 18 years and was never fond of Chiropractic treatment! Until I suffered my industrial injury and I finally took the advice of my spouse to consult with Dr. Dees and his staff for my neck and headache issues. After my first evaluation, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and expertise. I cannot begin to tell you how dramatically it has impacted me. I was able to see the physical change in my cervical area and headaches immediately. I met with Dr. Dees three months after to review my follow up x-rays; I witnessed a vast improvement from my initial visit but most importantly I felt so good.
