Canyon Auto Repair and Collision

I received a quote that a valve gasket replacement would take 5 hours, prepaid for parts 2 weeks in advance, and scheduled an appointment for 8:45am on a Wednesday. I took the car in at 8:30am, and at around 5pm, almost 9 hours after they got the car, they called to tell me that they ordered the wrong part and that they had to keep it overnight after assuring me before I made the appointment that they would have it done before the end of business that day. They then gave me a loaner car that the trunk didn't open on, the AC didn't work properly, the drivers seatbelt stuck, the doors didn't lock and had no gas. My 5 hour quote turned into overnight after I was assured it wouldn't and I had to put gas in their beat up crap loaner. Had the mechanic done his job correctly and opened the replacement gasket when I got there, they could have rescheduled. Especially since they knew it was my only transportation and they knew I had two small children. The counter person/mechanic, Jerry, then looked at me like I was stupid and said, and I quote, ""do you even know anything about mechanics?"" My fiance had to sign paperwork for the loaner car stating that if an accident or theft occurs, we will pay for the vehicle. Jerry then informed him, after the paperwork was signed, that the car did not lock. So we have a vehicle that we are financially responsible for that doesn't even lock to deter would-be thieves. more

My car was broken down really late at night near I 5 & 99W. I then found Canyon Auto Repair & Collision nearby, I called them in the morning spoke to Jerry towed the car to their shop, they found the problem and replaced the fuel pump right at the same day so I could go back to Eugene. I have a 1996 Ford Aerostar, the engine is sticking noise. I brought this van to Canyon Auto Repair and they check them out. Unfortunately, the engine is bad, due to oil gum up from top to bottom. I went there and took some pictures ( I did not believe first because I m just replaced that engine about 50,000 miles ago from the dealer ship) It too bad because I let the car go for too long between oil change so now I have the price I have to pay for. Luckly, Canyon Auto repair very reasionable compare with the engine I paid 50,000 miles ago from the dealer ship. I saved over a thousand dollars. This past Friday, someone put a small dent in my ""new and not one dent"" Infiniti FX35 passenger door while I was parked at a restaurant. My car is black and the dent just popped out first thing when you looked at that side. I called Lee and he met me at his shop on Saturday. Being a woman and not knowing much about body repair, I figured Lee could just pop out the dent. He took the time to explain how you would still be able to see the dent because of black color and how to correctly repair car. Within five minutes, I had an estimate and at lower price than expected. I'll be going back soon so Lee can repair my car. more

I have 2009 Nissan 370Z Just have accient, I went and see Lee at Canyon Auto Repair and Collision. Wow the waiting room is very impress me, I knew this place before, used to be a dirty and nasty own by Battery and auto Start. Lee told me he bought buiding and remodel the shop now It is the state of the art facility I have ever seen in any independent shop around PDX area. In short, my baby was finish with a beatiful color match, just like factory paint job. I am so impress and happy, even my neighbor couldn't tell me which part had been replace either. They also give me a great price on tires and do mechanical repair too. I got a set of tires for my 370 Z $ 200 less compare with Discount Tire place nearby. go check these guy out, I am sure you are very happy with their services. more

We inherited an old truck that had sentimental value so we wanted to get it fixed up. We took it to Canyon Auto Repair, and they were able to do an excellent job to get it back into shape. I now feel safe knowing that my teenage son can drive the truck without any problems. Lee (the owner) and his team are very easy to deal with, and they have reasonable prices for quick, excellent work. After this first experience, I have had both of my other vehicles worked on by Canyon Auto - highly recommended. So far, they have always come in equal to their estimate, or even less than their estimate. Last week, someone rear-ended one of my vehicles so now I will find out how they are on body repairs. I had a vehicle back into my passenger door of my 370Z. I went to numerous auto repair shops to get estimates. I thought about Canyon Auto Repair so i thought I'd give them a shot to see how they compared to other estimates. Lee, the owner, greeted me as I walked in and gave me a great estimate and with great confidence said he'll make the door look in prestine condition. Customer service was great, we called each other back and forth during the insurance process and he reassured me the paint would match perfectly. I picked up the car on 11-17-2010 after about 6 days of work being done. They had to a whole new door since it was made of aluminum. I came to pick up the car and was amazed by the interior and exterior auto detail of my car plus the paint itself. It was perfect! Lee greeted me as I walked in with my keys and said she's ready for you. I shook his hand and appreciated his quality of work and customer service. We needed a major tune up for our Toyota 4Runner and some members from the Holy Trinity Church recommended us to give it a try at the Caynon Auto Repair and Collision cause they were satisfied with the services there. We thought, why not give it a try, so we did. The owner of this auto repair was very friendly and honest. He took time to explain to us in details all the services needed done for a major tune up. He crossed out some services that have already been taken care of at our previous check ups and that saved us quite a bit of money. Some other auto repairs would color in more unnecessary services to rip off your money, but this place isn't one of those, so rest assure. His honestly led us to believe that this is truly a trustworthy auto repair place and I would highly recommend this to anyone whose is looking for any type of quality repair or tune up.
