I was in the market for a pair of binoculars and happened across Camera Lands website. I was set to purchase one pair, when they had a sale on another, yet better pair. I researched the manufacturer, but didn't find a lot of information or reviews for the particular pair of binoculars I was interested in, so I called Camera Land. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful and I purchased the binoculars. I ordered on Tuesday afternoon and received them Friday, quick shipping, excellent service, I would not hesitate to purchase from Camera Land again. more

I was in the market for a pair of binoculars and happened across Camera Lands website. I was set to purchase one pair, when they had a sale on another, yet better pair. I researched the manufacturer, but didn't find a lot of information or reviews for the particular pair of binoculars I was interested in, so I called Camera Land. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful and I purchased the binoculars. cant say enough good things 4/13/2011

I stay at Marriott Midtown from time to time - this store is right up Lex Ave - For New Yorkers they are polite and friendly, they aren't southern hospitality friendly but could teach the Marriott staff a thing or two . . . got Olympus camera from them - two months ago I chipped my Leica binoculars (they are beyond the 20 year guarantee) and finally decided to break down and buy a pair of PROMASTER binoculars (Lifetime warranty) I saw when I was in there - called on phone, they sent them right out (I didn't get any free coffee!!) - they arrived safe/sound and the quality is unbelievable. Wonderful experience - superb value - can't say enough good things. more

THANK YOU!!! You saved my trip!!! 4/11/2011

I came to NYC for a visit and realized I forgot my battery charger for my Olympus Pen camera. I was already at the point were I was down to 3-4 shots left. I called around the camera stores in midtown to ask if they could charge my battery. After told NO! or YOU NEED TO BUY A CHARGER, I called CameraLand and spoke to Judith. I explained my dilemma and she told me NO PROBLEM. I brought the battery in and she was kind enough to charge it for free. I was so happy I purchased a camera bag and an LCD screen protector as a way of thanking them for their hospitality. THANK YOU!!! You saved my trip!!! more

Service was marvelous and prices were decent. I bought a camera with my dad who had never owned a digital camera. Hilarity ensued (he asked if you have to wind it between pictures). The guy who helped us (Reggie, I think) was knowledgeable, gave us tons of his time, and picked out exactly the right camera--easy to use and relatively cheap. He showed dad how to use it too. I didn't even give him a price range but he recommended a $140 camera. My dad and I clearly didn't know anything so Reggie could have showed us a more expensive one. I thought all camera stores try to rip you off but that was definitely not the case here. more

I came to NYC for a visit and realized I forgot my battery charger for my Olympus Pen camera. I was already at the point were I was down to 3-4 shots left. I called around the camera stores in midtown to ask if they could charge my battery. After told NO! or YOU NEED TO BUY A CHARGER, I called CameraLand and spoke to Judith.
